Tagine or tagine (spoken tadjien) is the name for cookware traditionally used in Morocco. Thanks to their gentle cooking method, the tagines are also extremely popular in this country: The natural aroma of the ingredients and the valuable vitamins remain contained and the food gets an incomparably spicy taste. Casa-Moro tagines are ideal for cooking fish, meat, poultry and vegetables. And it's so simple: the tagine is filled with the ingredients and placed in the oven, on the charcoal grill or the hob. Due to the heat, steam rises, which condenses on the lid and drips down again. This preserves the liquid and the food cooks in its own juice. A little saffron, cumin and turmeric provide a real oriental touch. However, some olive oil intensifies the taste. Especially hurried and inexperienced chefs love cooking with a Moroccan tagine. The Casa-Moro tagines are handmade in Morocco from clay. The unglazed tagine Terra Natur is characterised by its particularly natural cooking aroma.
