The chair was an absolute step up to the wooden stools provided to me by my dorm. It is a fast, easy, affordable and reliable option for better support and comfort. The box provided came with all parts, the necessary screws and connectors, and the required Allen key to assemble, which was a big relief since I didn't need to go out and buy one.My particular order came with a missing screw, but since it was only one missing, the spare provided was able to cover for it. Sometimes, the parts would not fit cleanly into the holes to screw them into, and it would be difficult trying to wrestle the sturdy pieces into their supposed places to let the screws hold them into place. I do not know if this is because the parts warped due to temperature changes, or other factors. My roommate has purchased the same chair, and indeed, our parts seemed to fit differently (hers required more strength to bend into place, mine didn't fit snugly into some places, etc.) Despite this, I was still able to assemble my chair perfectly given a little time and patience (and energy).Overall, I am very satisfied with my chair. It fell under the perfect price point for a college student like me and offers a great amount of comfort and support. My current experience with this chair far outweighs the "bad" points I have listed, as even then, I am still able to use the chair despite all that.

I'm 5' 3" with a 27" inseam, and I need a chair with shallow depth so that I can sit the way god intended, with my knees bent at a 45 degree angle. I'm also 140lbs, about half the weight of your mom, so results may vary. We bought this chair along with another model from a different manufacturer for about the same price. Let's begin with the price - for this price, you shouldn't expect much. The other chair delivered on that expectation - flimsy, cheap materials, and plastic base. THIS chair exceeds all expectations. The base is very thick plastic, the seat fabric is in the same style as a breathable moisture wicking fabric. ALL bolts came with a compound on them in the appearance of a thread locking compound, and if it actually is thread locking compound this that would be an amazing inclusion at even double the price range of this chair. The back is a breathable mesh. The chair is relatively solid, with little flex in the back support. The chair looks fine, it would not appear out of place next to more expensive chairs. My only complaint is that the bottom cushion is relatively thin and uncomfortable - but it's not a deal breaker. As expected for the price, the center podium does not provide a 100% flex free experience, but the amount of wobble present is negligible. The ergonomics are good, much better than any other cheap chair I've been in, and yes, my knees enjoy a full sitting range of motion now. This is a solid win. We are buying another.

I LOVE THIS CHAIR!!After getting the package, my little brother and I set up the chair in less than 20 minutes. Set up was truly a breeze. Very detailed instructions and they even label all the nails so you know exactly which ones to use for which part of the chair. The chair is very sturdy and comfortable. I had been using the same desk chair for the last 15 years (nasty right??) but was very hesitant to buy a new chair because all the new chairs seemed so wide and bulky. This chair is the perfect compromise between size and comfort. Being that I am 5'3, this chair fits perfectly, I would imagine that someone much taller, (i.e. my little brother whose 5'10) may feel differently.Pros:-perfect size for someone who is looking to buy a "small" desk chair but still wants to be comfortable-easy set-up-provides back support-the armrests are padded!-the price is unbeatableCons:-my chair came with a scratch on the tube part, it's not noticeable but still kind of annoying it came like that (see picture)-the chair makes a funny sound when it's going up?? sounds like a lot of metal jingling.

My review reflects the amazing price of this chair. My wife and I were sitting on old, busted, broken down chairs in our home office and were miserable. I got two of these as a band aid until we figured out a long term solution. Ends up these chairs are great! I'm 6'2" and 230 lbs and it's big enough, although I can see how some might not agree, as it's on the smaller side. The back is lower but reaches the bottom of my shoulder blades so I feel like I have plenty of lower back support, and the mesh keeps you cool. The seat padding is a little thin so I wouldn't recommend this for your 8 hour a day work office, but evening home office setting is perfect. It would also make a great second office chair for a visitor, as it's small and easily tucked away. Why am I giving five stars then? Because it's $45!! I've sat in $200 chairs less comfortable than this. Now we both have good looking, reasonably comfortable chairs and it came in under $100 for both with free shipping.

The chair was well packaged but easy to unpack. The diagrams make putting it together very easy. I assembled it while talking on the phone and had no problems at all. It is comfortable, I rolls easily even on carpet. The back has good lumbar support. The seat is well cushioned and I like the fabric. The armrests are a little thin and under-padded but not enough to be a problem. Excellent value for the price.EDIT: I came back to buy another of these chairs. Mine has a mesh back with a shell design at the lower back and was $44.99 The chair pictured here has a solid black band across the mesh back and is a little more expensive. This pictured chair is not the chair I purchased and reviewed. No matter how many times I click on my previous order it takes me to this chair instead. I am not pleased by the switch. Even though this chair is similar I would rather see the chair listed as unavailable than have this passed off as the same chair. I changed my review from 5 stars for my chair to 3 stars because I don't care for the look of this new version and I don't like the forced swap.

Was easy to mount and very comfortable

These chairs seem to be good quality. I purchased 8 of them for our training room and they look very nice . The seats are quite firm but not uncomfortable. The mesh back is firm as well, and seems to be be well constructed. The wheels are smooth and the mechanisms to adjust the chais work well. The description and photos are very accurate. I would recommend these chairs.
