I absolutely love the Solinco Confidential strings—they’ve become my go-to choice, and I don’t see myself switching anytime soon. The pairing with my Pro Staff is outstanding: the racquet feels perfectly tuned, giving me both comfort and excellent feedback on contact. Every shot feels crisp, solid, and predictable, which inspires full confidence in my game. What makes these strings stand out is their exceptional control. The ball consistently goes exactly where I want it, whether I’m going for deep rally shots, sharp angles, or flattening out a winner. The precision allows me to play aggressively without fear of overhitting, and that makes a huge difference in competitive play. Spin generation is also impressive. While not as extreme as some softer strings, the bite is more than enough to add heavy topspin or slice when I need it, and the durability is excellent compared to other high-performance strings I’ve tried. Comfort is another plus—despite being a firm string, it never feels harsh, even during long sessions, which is key for maintaining consistency day after day. For players looking to build or refine an aggressive style with full control and reliable feedback, Solinco Confidential is a perfect match. In my experience, they strike the ideal balance between feel, responsiveness, and precision, making every hitting session enjoyable and every match more competitive. Compared to Luxilon Alu Power, the difference is clear. Confidential offers far greater durability—I can play longer without the performance dropping off, which makes them much more reliable

I'm a 5.0 men's player. I'm really happy with this string. The Solinco Confidential delivers exactly what I was looking for—excellent control, reliable durability, and good comfort, especially for a poly. My favorite part is that it holds tension well and gives me confidence on every shot for quite a while - I'm not worried about it fading and turning to mush. A great choice if you want a string that balances performance and feel. It's not the cheapest but given how long it lasts I'm not complaining. It's not a powerful string nor a spin machine but I can generate plenty of both myself and don't need more. Try it out, then buy the reel to save some money.

These are excellent strings. They have great dwell time and a great feel and hold their shape well after several months of playing. Under $15 for these strings is worth it. I may try the 17mm next time to test the differences...these were 16mm.

El calibre y material

I ordered 2 sets and usted one of them but after trying them I knew o had to return the other one, is a good string overall but not for me, is to stiff and for my racket it doesn't complement it well.

My favourite string. Shifted to this string 6 months ago after reading a lot of reviews and recommendation and stayed with it. I string it at 48 lbs in a Wilson Blade 98. Gage 16L. Comfortable set up. String lasts good 12-15 hours before losing tension and significant notching. This is at the upper end of polyester strings for me in terms of longevity. I also like Volkyl Cyclone but in my experience the control is better with SOLINCO Confidential and hence it is my top string these days. Highly recommended. Try it if you are looking for more control and if you want to take full swings. Great spin as well for me. Finally it will depend on your playing style and what you want out of it. It works great for me. Also not as expensive as some other polyesters like ALU power and RPM blast. From stiffness standpoint it is between SOLINCO tour bite (stiffest) and hyper G.

This has become my string of choice with the Wilson Clash racquet after trying a host of other poly strings. This one feels great right off from the point of stringing but gets even better after about an hour or so of playing. I feel this holds its tension and liveliness a bit longer too as compared to some other well-known poly strings. The Wilson Clash is already a muted racquet due to the shock absorption capability of the flexible frame, and I feel that the Solinco Confidential is one of the very few poly strings that counters the muted feel by adding a bit of punch to the ground strokes without sacrificing on spin potential.

This is good string, strung it at 52lbs but hurt my elbow and shoulder. I am a very casual player and I just wasn’t ready it, went back to a multi.

Estas son mis cuerdas de preferencia. Yo siempre encuerdo con confidential en 53lbs ya que el poly es duro pero a una tensión regular me da mucha comodida y buen control. Yo juego con una prostaff RF97 y el encordado le va muy bien. También, son durables, generalmente me duran hasta mes y medio cuando ya rompo cuerdad o definitivamente algo el cambio por tensión.

These strings are not too lively and they are just what I wanted.

Put this in my Vcore Pro 100 and was hoping it would play a bit like Hyper-g or Tour Bite. Unfortunately it seemed to reduce the size of the sweet spot and feel. If I hit the much smaller sweet spot dead on the ball would really fly but did not have much spin. Volleys and serves really did not work and compared to hyper-g (in my 2nd racquet) gave me little confidence. Maybe I could get it playing better but I will stick with either Hyper-g or Tourna big hitter 7 silver in the Vcore Pros.
