Seems to work!
I had been trapping up to 5 mice a week. Installed these and trapped about 5 all year. When the lights stopped working the ultrasonics may have stopped too. Had it a little over a year then got another mouse after the lights stopped working. Not sure if it was just the odd one that gets in anyway or the units stopped working. Sad to say, when I went to purchase more to make sure, it is unavailable.

Not pet friendly
I couldn't really give a review because like another person I wasn't able to leave it plugged in. Put one in my laundry room facing the kitchen and never got to plug the other one in. My lab wouldn't go to the kitchen to eat her food or go to the back door to go out. She just kinda hunkered back in the bedroom.

They Work!!! Sort of...
It seems to work very well against everything else except roaches. Either that or the roaches in Hawaii seriously dont give a flying F*** and its both style roaches the big flying B52 ones and the small ones as well . Then again supposedly roaches are supposed to live through a nuclear disastor what made me think that some annoying noise emitted from a electronic device would keep them away. It does keep fire ants away which I had a major problem with in my bedroom also it seems to do the job well against mosquitos. I'd always have to turn on all the lights and hunt that sucker down once they decide to buzz in my ear. So the 2 major problems are solved.

Definitely don’t have bats any longer.
The ultrasonic pest repeller plug in devices shipped and arrived very quickly. I plugged them in immediately because I have been seeing some mouse droppings and hear what I think are bats in the chimney. I can say the bays are no longer in the chimney, but I’m not sure if the mice are gone...I noticed my reusable snack bags have holes chewed in them...the instructions say you may see more pests when you first start using the plug ins...can’t really say if they work or not, been using since they arrived a month ago.

Too bulky for my liking
I bought a two pack of these. I put one right outside of my sliding glass doors and one immediately inside of the glass doors. I noticed a slight decrease in the amount of flies we were getting. What I absolutely hate is that these are so big that it takes up The entire outlet. So I have to choose on plugging in my patio lights or trying to repel flies.

Doesn't work on mice!
So, I read the reviews that said this worked for mice as well as roaches etc. And, it has not worked on the mice that we have. Even plugged into an outlet near 6 inches from the trash can where the mice were "hanging out" and it did nothing to scare them, or thwart them from coming in the house or getting in the trash can. So, I can't say that it works at all. :( Can't say if it works on bugs because we don't have that issue.

Seems to work.
Easy to use. Just plug it in and wait. I tried these out in my garage for a week as I tend to leave it open with lots of people walking in our out. I never got a bite on me in the 90+ heat when usually mosquito's love me like a fat kid on cake. I also never saw any flies come into the area. I live in a rural area of virginia where biting insects are the normal and I've not gotten bitten in my garage or back porch. My only grip is that it blocks both outlets with its oval shape and doesn't seem to help with spiders.

Pet Owners take note before you buy
I cannot really give this product a rating because I only had them plugged in for 2 days. One in the living room & one in the bedroom. We have 2 dogs - a husky and a more of a lab/hound. Out of nowhere our husky would not come into the house or the bedroom for any reason. Trying to bring him in in from the yard and he would fight so hard and cry.... so we let him be. They both usually sleep in the bedroom at night but the husky was terrified. For a day or so could not figure out why- thought he was buzzed by a bug or something and actually thought he may have gotten sick. So we walked back a couple days on anything we did different in the house and the only thing was plugging in these 2 items. I immediately unplugged both and within a day our husky was back in the house and laying in his bed and being social again. He still is wary of the bedroom but is getting back to normal. This also happened with another product that gives off ultrasonic sound. But that being said as far as we know it did not bother our hound. The husky has large ears that stick straight up whereas the hound ears flop over. This may have been the reason he was so sensitive. All I know is when I unplugged them our husky showed signs of total relief. I can't speak to the overall effectiveness of this product BUT I can say that be wary if you have pets it may cause them to be very scared and fearful.
