*updated review* 5* to 3
Updated review*Unfortunately i realised this product has quite a lot of phenoxyethanol and even though it is only allowed to be used less than 5% there’s still a lot of this in the product in volume. As it’s an eye product I’ve had to throw this away simply because it’s highly unsafe for mothers and babies. Had the ingredient been at the bottom of the list it may have been ok but this has a lot of it. The price is also very high considering I have found mineral eye creams with no harmful ingredients for just over half of the price of this. So hence stars removed.I have sensitive skin to chemicals and this cream seems to glide on just fine. The main body is the aloe vera followed with hyaluronic acid. (Natural HA is found in skin, connective tissue and eyes) it is what helps retain water to keep our skin lubricated and moist. The beauty about this is that the ingredient also mostly has sodium hyaluronate which is same as HA but has smaller molecular weight so it actually works deeper. So while the Hyluronic acid smooths out the surface of the skin the sodium hyaluronate smoothes things on a deeper level. That being said the rest of the ingredient list contains various oils. If for any reason your eyes or skin sting its worth using the product every other day then using everyday. (Remember the SH is working below the skins surface)I have been using this nearly 3 weeks, i don't have many lines but post birth I have been getting less sleep and began to develop dark circles...now my face seems more fresh overall despite I'm tired or sleep deprived.A little goes a long way, there are no toxic ingredients which make this eye gel worth investing especially being a vegan product.I do feel like the container should have been glass and not plastic though.

EFFICACY IS DEBATABLE, YOU DECIDE!
PROS:1) Fits in with various minority ideologies2) Natural ingredients (but all substances are naturally occurring at some point!)3) “SEEMS” to workCONS:1) Debatable whether it actually worksI’m a bit of sceptic when beauty and cosmetic companies make claims about their products. My wife, like many women are happy to digest the pseudo science and stomach the price. Fortunately, this product was free to review because from my point of view I didn’t see any noticeable changes in the skin under my eyes, but my wife swears that she did. Hence why I said it was debatable whether it is effective or not. It has the usual list of ingredients, saying that they are natural ingredients, but if you have any scientific training or knowledge you’ll know that even “chemicals” are natural. Extracting various chemicals from different plants is actually less efficient than synthesising the same chemicals in a production process. However, if marketers can sell products using wild claims to the less scientifically trained public, good on them. My wife wants to buy more when this bottle finishes, but I wouldn’t! You decide whether you want to, and perhaps you should read the other reviews too.

Seems good so far
I was excited to be given the opportunity to try this eye gel out, having a busy toddler and working evenings means my eyes often look how tired I feel! First impressions were good, it’s a decent size bottle which says made in the UK. I was a bit put off by the label though as it says it’s not tested on animals but the cruelty free logo isn’t any of the 3 official ones and I can’t find their brand name on any of the cruelty free lists so I’m not sure if I trust it.Using it for the first time was quite strange, i was expecting it to be cooling which it is for the first few seconds but then turned hot and almost burning. I’m not sure if that’s because my skin doesn’t like something in it or if that’s meant to happen? Results wise I’ve been using this eye cream for a good few days now. I haven’t noticed it reduce the puffiness/ bags under my eye immediately after using but in general I’ve noticed I have less bags under my eyes to begin with, I’m not sure if that’s just a coincidence or other products I’ve tried or if this has made a difference to me getting them in the first place?Overall I’m intrigued and will keep using it. I’ll update my review if I see any more results!

Excellent Eye Gel
I have tried many eye gels and eye creams and I honestly think this is the best one by far. It’s has an impressive range of ingredients including hyaluronic acid, green tea extract, aloe vera and arnica and all of these work together to provide a really effective anti ageing, soothing and calming eye gel.One of the main reasons I have been on an eye gel quest is that I suffer from under eye puffiness which really annoys me. That and the fact that as I am getting older (ahem) I need something to deal with fine (and not so fine!) lines. I gently patted the gel around one eye and did a double take! The puffiness under my eye had really diminished, so I applied it under the other eye and it worked just the same. It really was surprising as the difference was quite noticeable. The packaging of the product is not great and certainly not in line with the premium product price tag. I have not marked it down though as the actual product worked so well for me, but I do think it’s a shame as what seems a cheap bottle with a wonky label doesn’t scream quality and would make me not want to give it as a present.I think my quest may now be over!
