These are hard to assemble and are not sturdy do Dad glued them together. He loves putting these models together

I bought this for a Xmas gift for kids over the age of 10 and they really enjoyed building it. It’s more than just a toy they’ll grow out of and it has the potential to be a piece that they will take care of and hold onto for years. It’s great for them to engage their mind in some small engineering way. For adults it’s fun to build but not a real challenge if you’re looking for something that’ll keep you busy for long. Worth a try though.

This was my 1st attempt at anything like this and I was able to complete it in about 3 days. Mostly because I needed to allow the wood glue to dry when I broke something. I would recommend having wood glue, chopsticks/+ toothpicks to apply it, and tweezers (use the blunt side to pop out pieces from board) handy. My new project came with candle wax to use as wood lube and it's a great tool for any project like this.Overall it was really fun and I found myself a new winter/covid hobby. Buy it.

The parts fit for assembly was excellent. The instructions were very good. One instruction to install masts first, then sails, my husband reversed on purpose because his hands are larger and it was much easier to install the sails onto masts and then install the mast onto ship. My husband loved this ship and said he will definitely buy more of these puzzles from this manufacturer. The parts are really small so he also used a tweezer to hold parts in place while pushing them in.

mailed to a friend who was qualified to build something like this he found it intriguing and interesting and was able to construct but then again he’s a bona fide super architect and understood the complexity of the pieces that need to be put together I’m yet to see it

I gave this as a gift. It looked like it would be visually great when assembled. I gave it a 4 because I won’t be the one putting it together. Looked a little challenging to me. My great grandfather was a fisherman in Ireland so appropriate for the recipients.

Out of everything I got him, this kit was the thing he was most excited about. That night he put it together. He was impressed with the quality and asked me if there were more that we could buy.

Gave as gift to sailing friend He liked it very much.Nice distraction during Covid lockdown.

by step 3 pieces snapped because its a tight bend, ON WOOD! thin and processed isn't meant to bend, at least not this tight of a curve. but i was like, whatever and glued it and taped it in place to dry. by the time i finished the first page on instructions i had spent hours sanding pieces to actually fit in place (i understand its supposed to be a tight fit so it doesnt fall apart, but trying to force pieces to the point that they're all ) by half way through page two i used a full 3g bottle of gorilla glue!!! and ended up rage quitting at the non stop snapping pieces and having to sand pieces to get them to wedge fit. its poor quality and unless you wanna spend money on a product that'll infuriate you, i do not recommend it.

J’ai acheté le produit car j’aime bien faire des casses-têtes. C’est entre un modèle réduit et un casse-tête. Les instructions sont bien détaillés. Il est très fragile alors il faut être délicat avec les morceaux. Il y a des certains morceaux d’extra. J’en ai brisé deux qui n’étaient malheureusement pas dans les morceaux de surplus hahahaha Mais je les ai collé et ça s’est bien passé. C’est à usage unique.

I brought ur product because of my love of clipper ships. I found that the product was fun to put together however there are a few problems I found. 1) the smallest part are so weak and breaks easy (example cannons). maybe making them all one piece or maybe made them into plastic. 2) the thread sent to be used as rigging. It was tied together too tightly, so much so I was not able to use the thread. 3) the plans, for the most part they are good and detail, but some of them a little hard to see where the parts went..If you want to reply to me, you can reach me at [email protected] you for your time and ur product,,,

Our 10 year old granddaughter was so happy receiving the puzzle but she was even happier after she completed the assembly! There was a little tear when the mast needed a little repair! She did it all by herself and have it done in a day! It looks very nice!!

My boyfriend and I did this together and it was easy enough, however there are super thin pieces, you have to be careful. There are a few extra pieces as well but we broke a flag and there was unfortunately not a replacement of that. But still fun to build and time well spent together.
