I have been reading the book called "Why isn't my brain working?" (A very good read, highly recommended ) which tells about vital factors of our diet that have a huge impact on the health of our brain. In the book, one of the key important supplements mentioned is Omega-3 fish oil, which is vital for healthy brain function, immunity, and inflammatory response. I came onto amazon looking for Omega 3's that are high in both EPA and DHA, with a ratio of each that are not much different in amount. This supplement contains 800 mg EPA, and 600 mg DHA. So it matches perfectly what I was looking for. The lemon scent of the gel-cap is very pleasant, and I can taste a nice mild lemon flavor when the capsules are in my mouth. While its tempting to savor this nice lemon taste (which is not what the product is intended for) , It's important you get to the point of swallowing them relatively quickly if you want to avoid dissolving the capsule in your mouth too much and tasting a bit of fish flavor. This would not be a fault of the product but of the consumer not utilizing it correctly. In other words. Have your beverage of choice ready before taking the capsules, and don't keep them lingering in the mouth too long. For the most part (I would say 90% of the time) I never get any fishy tasting burps after taking them. Most of the time this is true even when taking them on an empty stomach. However, I think taking them without food raises the chance of tasting fish burps. To me its no big deal. It doesn't even gross me out if I do taste it. But I understand some people can barely stand it. Its not a thing to worry about experiencing much with this supplement though. Bottle has a nice design, and looks great. This is a high quality omega 3 supplement that will last you a whole month if you take 2 capsules a day. And the price is very very good for the high potency and quality. I will be ordering more of these. And I highly recommend them.

Made in the USA - check. I opened the package and there was no fishy or other odd smell - check. The capsule is a very pale yellow color, allowing you to actually see the oil - check. (I stay away from cheap amber-colored capsules as I always feel like they're trying to hide something.) I've been taking Omega-3's for a long time and these are the real deal, a whopping 1500 mg of Omega-3's per serving. (Read your labels, all fish oil capsules are definitely NOT created equal! You’re buying fish oil for its Omega-3, right? Many people mistakenly think that fish oil is the same as Omega-3, but it’s not. Fish oil contains Omega-3, sort of like milk contains calcium. Many of the fish oil supplements that you find at your local grocery or drug store do not have adequate Omega-3's. If your bottle of fish oil says ‘Fish Oil 1200 mg,’ that DOES NOT mean that you are getting 1200 mg of Omega-3. You’re getting 1200 mg of fish oil. Unless you read the label on the back of the bottle, there is no way to tell how much Omega-3 is in your 1200 mg fish oil pill.) The EPA:DHA ratio is ideal for my purposes. No fishy aftertaste or burps (Yes, that's gross, but it must be said. You don't want to be breathing fish breath on people at work or in the gym.) There are no bargains when purchasing high-potency Omega-3's; one of those "you get what you pay for" things. But Level Seven Omega-3 is more cost-effective and a higher dose of Omega-3's than Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega (which I had been taking religiously, at the recommendation of my doctor, for a decade, until I saw this brand). Very glad to have found this product.

Arrived quickly, Good packaging - Very happy. I've been using these for about a week and love them. I'm happy to get high quality concentrated Omega 3 in a easy to take pills. I was pleasantly surprised by the citrus taste (Not 'fishy' at all. No after taste). I actually let them stay in my mouth a while before I swallow them. My body thanks me for taking care of it. I plan to reorder !

After almost a month of taking these, I felt ready and compelled to write a review. The product is great. If you are one of those (like me) that try to stay away from the fishy smell, this is the product for you and full of the goodness that you are looking to have. I would highly recommend this product to anyone interested in supplementing their levels of Omega 3.

Prompt shipping. I love how there is no fishy taste when swallowing the supplements. It has a nice lemon hue to the taste. Also, if you look on the back of the label, it contains higher levels of EPA and DHA then the Vitamin Shoppe Brand that I was using. I recommend this product!

I love the fact that this product has higher DHA and EPA - plus the lemon flavor leaves no aftertaste! I've been taking fish oil for years and that is such a refreshing taste of lemon. Great product, highly recommended.

The issue with many Fish Oil products I have tried is an unpleasant aftertaste. This product has none. It is high dosage, 1500mg with a good balance of EPA and DHA.
