808 CANZ Bluetooth Wireless Speaker - Red

This little device is great! My devices link to the blue tooth easily. It has great sound and enough base to really improve music and audiobooks. The range is about 20-25 feet - enough to go to the end of any room, but you couldn't carry it from room to room without also taking your ipod. It covers nearly the entire basement, so I'm happy with that. There is a warning about 2 minutes before it runs out of power that says "low power" which gives me enough time to switch to my second unit. Usually, I go a whole day without recharging, but keep in mind that I keep having to stop, turn it off to answer the phone, vacuum, run errands. It definitely will play 6 hours straight but beyond that, I'm not sure. It charges using a USB cord with the wide mouth. I have a strip light that has 2 usb slots and just charge it in that overnight. If you totally run it out, you need to let it charge for 10-15 minutes - then you can turn it back on, still plugged in and continue to charge while playing. It needs to get a little ahead to continue to charge while you are playing.One of the nice things I found is that I can plug it into my Roku remote (both Roku 3 and 4) and have the speaker right next to me. I have some hearing loss and my Mom has significant hearing loss - this is a very inexpensive way to get more sound next to the person who can't hear instead of turning the TV on to blasting the entire household. She will not use headphones, so I was happy that this worked!

I did need to buy another one as the previous one I had blew a speaker, it seems..... (my son has used it a lot as well, in the past year).The price is reasonable (I think I just paid $20 is all, although this generally runs closer to the $24 to $29 range). This Canz 808 is my absolute favorite (I've owned several different brands). It's a really solid unit with a good, solid weight. And the sound is incredible! Bass is "all there" too!For Christmas this past year I purchased my kids each a Trendwoo bluetooth (they like them quite a lot - - or else they're being super polite and perhaps are pining away for mom's 808). Anyway, Trendwoo is a good one as well, but to me the sound just doesn't have the intensely clear quality as the Canz. Highly recommend this CANZ speaker!! (super handy to charge, and to connect. It does play a sound to announce it's ready to go each time you connect it. AND it announces "low battery" which I appreciate!)

This speaker has amazing sound for it's size! It is clear and the bass is better than a lot of bigger speakers. The only complaint I have is that I wish it had a volume control on the unit. I had to stop using it in my office at work because even with my iPad on the lowest volume and the speaker in a drawer almost completely closed it was too loud and bothering my coworkers.Now I mostly use it at home while cleaning or doing house updates as I can carry it from room to room and don't have to crank up the main stereo to deafening levels in the living room to hear it throughout the house. It has great range for the Bluetooth as well. While I can't use it for my original intention, I am still happy I purchased it.

I was going to give it 5 Stars for the Sound, 5 Stars for the Quality and 5 Stars for Looks! But then I thought, hey wait a minute - You get 1 Star for whoever Man or Robot that manufactured it so badly on the inside.There is this one very little and thin but also tiny cable that breaks like right away after you used it a few times and you are left with pretty much a Speaker-like-stone-case that you could just throw at someone and cause some serious damage to them if you were mad... XDOn the other hand, I was able to fix 2 out of 4, cause hey, I had to break apart 2 of them in order to finally understand how to get them opened and then learn how to get them fixed and all together, it was an unforgivable, very hard experience.I hope they've managed to get that fixed by now.

For the size and price, this is the best Bluetooth speaker available. My brother has a Bluetooth Jawbone speaker that he paid $80 for. This one destroyed his. The circumference is actually a little smaller than a soda can and much shorter. The sound is pretty amazing and only slightly struggles with base when the volume is at max.Pairing is simple enough if you're used to that sort of thing. It also has a headphone jack incase you have a device that doesn't have Bluetooth, like most computers. From my use I can get between 5 and 6 hours of music time.The materials feel premium but can be slippery so be careful when handling it. I've dropped it too many times but fortunately is made well so it just keeps working.Not much else to say except I highly recommend this mini 808 CANZ speaker to anyone wanting a travel size bluetooth speaker that can deliver in sound volume and is built well.

This Bluetooth speaker brings such a big sound. I was glad it had a charge straight out of the box. No need to read the manual just common sense. Turn it on, hit pair, open up the Bluetooth setting in your phone and select it. I purchased it so I can wirelessly play music louder in the household and on trips like camping. I was able to get anywhere from 25 ft to 35ft range depending on what obstructs the signal. It's too bad you can't link up additional canz speakers with it as the sound is great. It's got a deep rich colour, looks really clean and has a good amount of weight to it. You can feel it's got some base when it comes to playing music but it's no subwoofer if that's what your looking for.
