Good for melons on trellis.
They were a little longer than I needed but just tied a knot to shorten them. Worked great for Kajari melons on trellis.

flimsy
Item arrived not fast but the item didn't take weeks either. Used them on my squashes that are growing vertically. The durability is really for small fruits/vegetables like acorns, really small butternuts, small cantaloupes, maybe a small personal size watermelon which is pushing the limits. Netting material is a thin plastic/nylon type material and the plastic/nylon string handle is thin as well. Using them to support my squashes and the string handle were tearing away from the loop on the bag. If not careful, the bags tear easily. They are not meant to support anything real heavy. They are okay for small size 3-4 pound weight fruits or vegetables but much heavier and risk the net bag not supporting the fruit of your labor smashing to the ground. Not sure about how durable they are from season to season. Just bought this year and using them now in the fall to support the squashes. So the net bags has not had a long time exposed to UV rays or weathering in the summer season. I suspect they would be good for a couple of seasons of use maybe three if not exposed to too many summers.

These make soft ties
I am trying to grow vertically this year. Never done this before. The nylon net is very soft and is good to use not only for a cradle but for a tie to tie the vines up on to the trellis. It is a tiny bit difficult to slip the knitted bag over the fruit being very careful not to damage the connection between fruit and vine. But like I said this is my first time trying. I have several squash and individual watermelon fruits tied up now. Can't wait to see the final result and if I am successful.

Love these! You CAN hang watermelons on a trellis with these!
They come all bundled with a few tied around the outside of them and it was a bit difficult getting them untied but otherwise they were a breeze. I copied what someone else had done in their review and as they got better I strung another bag under them as a "sling" to keep them supported but I don't know that I needed to do that. When the melons appeared and were about the size of my thumb I put a bag over them and tied it to the trellis. It really helped keep them from getting eaten by birds etc. When they got bigger I did have to untie them and retie them so they were more securely attached to the fence nearer to where the melon had grown to. Other than that, all I did was put up the "sling/hammock" piece and also stretch out the bag from time to time to make sure they weren't crowded in there. I think they are great and I am absolutely using them again next year.

I’d give it full stars if it wasn’t for the fraudulent pictures of the product
They’re just net bags without the yellow tie string as seen in the listings pictures or description. Very annoyed by this. Had to go buy rolls of wire string so I can tie the ends up. I’ve added photos. Product would be hundred times better if it actually had that yellow draw string to close the bags with the watermelons in them. I’m using them to hold a bit of weight of the growing baby Japanese watermelons.
