Tried all bulbs that came in the set and none dimmed as advertised. Decided to keep them since they're not overly bright and aren't available from the big box hardware store.

2nd time purchasing these. My only complaint is they started to dim out after about 2 years of use and got real dim after about 2.5-3 years of use. They are cheap enough to toss out and buy again.

Way more energy efficient than halogen bulbs; they don't get hot and these bulbs provide excellent light in our bathroom vanity.

Came with 4 bulbs and I know one didn’t work, but I didn’t try the 4th since the other 2 worked (I only needed 2). So I’ll just assume the other one works, which is a 25% failure rate, which isn’t that great since there were only 4. I would have given 5 stars if they all worked and if I actually needed al 4 to work, I would have given 1 star for the non working bulb.

I bought 4 bulbs. NONE worked in bathroom outlets. I placed a bit of solder on the lead at the end as someone recommended in a review. That worked for 3 bulbs but not in one -- I might have damaged it with my soldering iron. I contacted the seller and they sent me 4 new ones to replace the one bad one AT NO CHARGE. The new ones have a bit more lead at the end and ALL FOUR WORKED WITHOUT ANY ADJUSTMENT. I now have 3 spares.The bulbs are all uniform in appearance and color. I have no dimmers so I can't critique that aspect.

Bought these as a replacement for the halogen bulb in my ceiling fan. Much brighter than expected (good) but the dimmer feature of the fan has no effect (likely due to the fan being built for a halogen bulb). My real complaint is why they don’t sell a single bulb. I now have a back up specialty bulb that I probably won’t need given the life expectancy ... I will probably die first. Guess I need to add the second bulb to my will.

I have a ceiling fan which uses 7 candelabra bulbs, and was tired of peering in the dim light when it was switched on.When these came, I thought they might be only a little bit brighter than what was up there, but today I replaced the upper four bulbs with these and Wow! I can see!! My spouse thought the "daylight" (6000K) color was a bit much, so I've just ordered the warm white (3000K) and will see if that passes muster :)Update: despite the claimed 50,000 hour life, these have a 1-year guarantee. It's been a 14 months, and two of the four have failed.

They are so much cooler than the original halogens. But only last 6-28 months before they need replacing.
