We bought it when it was reduced and the quality is very good when compared to other docment cameras we've used.

I had high hopes for this IPEVO VZR, and these have been exceeded. It is easy to use, though the plethora of different functions take a while to get my head around. Set up took about 3 minutes for hardware (extract from box, screw bottom plate on, plug into computer) and around 10 for installing the software (because my broadband is slow, and it's downloaded from the website). It just works. I use the visuliser software and share that (rather than the camera directly) during videoconferencing - meaning participants can see my video (by computer cam) and the visuliser feed (via the share) simultaneously. Tiny time lag between what happens under the Ipevo and it appearing on screen, but that's totally fine. Zoom, viewer size, resolution and colour balancing functions work just like you'd want them to. Scanning to PDF function was a pleasant surprise - fantastic for multi-page docs, articles, or book chapters. I've had fun playing with the stop-motion and time-laps features which are so easy to use. Website full of helpful usage examples and quick guides. The multiple joints on the camera arm mean I can get it into pretty much any position I want - great for close up (examining the nibs of fountain pens), mid range (scanning an A4 document) and can be turned to use as a secondary webcam. I haven't testing the built in microphone. The Visualiser folds up to take up almost zero footprint on my desk, and takes only a couple of seconds to raise the arm and get going when I need to use it. Feel sturdy and robust, and the weighted base keeps it from toppling, so although it might look a tiny bit top-heavy, it's far from it. It's not the least expensive option out there, but I'm very glad I invested. Very good value for money.

I'm using the Ipevo visualiser for my online embroidery lessons, so my tutor can see what I'm doing close up and I can get the most out of my lessons. I have been amazed at the quality of the close up images. The fold down arm is handy for storage, and the control buttons on the visualiser are easily to access, if you dont want to make adjustments via Zoom or Teams for example. The heavy weight base makes the visualiser very stable, and it comes with the screws and tool to attach them. You can rotate the camera into position, which is really useful. The only downside is the power and frequency switches, are a little tricky to slide. As well as needing to connect the visualiser to your device, and a separate power supply, if your device cannot power the visualiser.

Good sturdy quality build. Plug and play. Clear picture and reasonable sound quality. Record video and pictures using standard Microsoft webcam software. (Software on disk supplied is poor). Overall - good product but a bit overpriced.

I bought this for my daughter, a secondary English teacher, and she is over the moon with how well this performs. She uses it now in most lessons for modelling answers, reading with students and other demonstrations. The quality of the image is brilliant and the focus button is incredibly helpful. Works well with any camera software, but the free IPEVO software is exceptional. She has also used it for video conferences and live lessons in class, and the microphone has worked really well. Overall a fantastic buy!

Absolutely perfect for online tuition. Beats my make shift DSLR visualiser hand down. Crystals clear HD image and very easy to use straight out of the box with Zoom or Teams.

After reported to IPEVO Support about the issue of dropping connections during meetings, they swiftly send a replacement unit and solved the problem.

I am not using this piece of equipment to its full potentials, as I have to find out how it works by trial and error, in fact so far more errors than trials. This is because in is supplied with no instructions at all axcept for a diagram illustrating what the on off button looks like and what it is for etc. Obviously the manufacturer assumes that whoever buys this has plenty of time to waste fidling with it spending hours exploring its features and finding it by trial and error, I am afraid, not all of us are blessed with such life, in fact I bought this to make my life easier not more complicated at the end I gave up and replaced it in the box as it is far too much of a bother, and I have no time to play with it. I am very disappointed that the supplier has not bothered to provide a printed or downloadable user manual, especially considering the cost of it, I will send it back on principle.

IPEVOは初代から、何台か購入しています。 このモデルはUSBでパソコン接続、単独でHDMI接続が可能。 使っていて便利だったのがデジタルズーム。もともとの画素数が高いので、デジタルズームでもきれいにクローズアップできます。 関節が２箇所なので、３箇所タイプと比べると、角度を合わせにくい。 LEDの光量はひかえめですが、カメラの感度がいいので、実用上問題ないと思います。

Very durable and high quality unit which improve WFH productivity. You can show documents with the 8k camera, use the camera for web calls, and use the microphone for web calls. I run daily project Zoom calls with this unit from Vancouver and remotely manage a team of 30 people in Toronto - works very well.

Für den Einsatz in der Schule (fast) perfekt. Handlich, gute Auflösung, leicht und intuitiv zu bedienen (die neueste Software herunterladen), mit wenig Licht im Klassenraum kann die Cam gut umgehen. Auch nicht PC-affine Lehrkräfte werden hier zu SMART-Board-Usern .. ;-) Bücher drunterlegen, Schülerarbeiten, Handschrift auf Papier darunter - alles schön und flüssig anzusehen. Mit ein paar kleinen Einstellungen auch sehr geeignet für die Erstellung von Erklärvideos gleich im mp4-Format, was teure bekannte Firmen nicht schaffen (avi!).

Easy to use. Just plug in usb cable to connect to laptop. Can project in class. Just that image on class screen not very sharp so I need to zoom in to make it clearer though still not sharp. Overall still a good gadget to have for live lesson via zoom.
