I bought this for my middle schooler, and it is "middle school approved." It provides really rugged protection and feels very secure, but it’s surprisingly light and not bulky at all, so it still fits easily into a backpack. The handle is a great touch too. It makes it easy to carry as a stand-alone bag when they don't want to lug the whole backpack around. Very happy with the quality!

Love it BUT I’m returning it. The orange color, simple design, and soft touch hardened shell is great. I’m rating it 5 stars for all of that and wish I could keep it. Reality is it is too big. It’s a 17.3” laptop carrier and I had hoped it would work for my 16” computer but it’s way too big and I don’t want my computer flopping around inside. Yes, I can do basic math and I know 16 does not equal 17.3 but I had hoped it would work for my travel needs. Not only does my laptop move too much inside but the exterior is way too big for my large-carry-everything-everywhere backpack. I cannot zipper my travel bag closed with it so it’s a no-go. Also, it arrived in a condition that was obviously already opened as the plastic bag was torn open like someone not planning on returning it and the sales tag was removed from the zipper leaving the tag strings. That didn’t bother me but FYI for those who are wanting this for a gift and want new-new. Sad to be returning this item, unfortunately they do not have a 16” version or I would be buying it. I hope it works for you.

Sturdy, strong & good fit for my laptop

Offers great protection for my 14" Macbook Pro. Slightly too big for it but not a deal breaker. I was not able to store the Apple charger with the Mac in the case because the zipper wouldn't close without forcing the case closed. You can store other thin items like cables, phone, tablet, etc. and still close the zipper. Overall a great purchase although it lost 1 star for the charger storage limitation.

A really nice budget upgrade from the softer sleeves that I have purchased before. One side of the case has the external channels and the other side is smooth. It's very lightweight and a nice compromise from getting a harder shell. The external material is not porous, so it offers waterproof protection and can be wiped clean very easily. There is a hold -down mesh section inside the case for the open laptop and a vertical strap to secure the closed laptop within the case. The ACER 15 slides around a bit from side to side, but we can get some foam rolls to get a more precise fit inside. I can also use the travel mouse and AC Charger block and wires to secure the laptop snugly.

The case protects my computer perfectly. It holds it very nice and snuggly and securely

There will be times that I will use my backpack to transport this laptop. I want to protect the laptop from bangs, bends, and pressure points while inside my backpack as well. And I also want something to store the Acer in when not in use. I didn't need any compartments, it just needed to comfortably fit into one of my backpacks and any accessories that I might need I can carry in the pack's compartments. So I wanted a laptop case that would be hard enough on the outside to protect the computer on the inside, but not so hard as to feel like a concrete paver pressing into my back either. And of course there is the padding, a biggie when it comes helping to 'shock proof' the electronics and the display screen on the unit. I poured through many an Amazon ad before I decided on this one. When it first arrived I was pleased with the hard plastic-like water resistant shell, and the laptop (15.6") fit well enough into the sleeve when I made use of its velcro strap. And it is an attractive enough looking case, but that wasn't a big deal to me. I liked the fact that it contained a seat belt inside to keep the laptop in place, and not flopping around inside while I am in motion. And that the handle side was placed on the opening side of the case, that way it's almost impossible for my old brain to forget to zip this up. If I should forget to zip it, the case would flop open and remind me to zip it as soon as I grabbed the handle, and the computer would remain safe and stay inside as long as I also remembered to 'strap it in' beforehand. Should I forget to both 'strap it in' and zip it up and the laptop did fall out? . . . well then it's time for me to check into a senior care center, and I might be too old to rock and roll but I'm too young to die. Also the Domiso having a few storage pockets is pretty cool too. And this all seemed good, this was a keeper, it seemed like a great value for the money, until I noticed that the padding on both sides of the case was lacking. The padding was about as thick as what you might find on the removable insoles of a cheaper athletic shoe. I thought about getting some foam inserts to modify the case to my liking, but why shouldn't the manufacturer have thought of that? Back it went. These are some of the pitfalls of online shopping, to not be able to see and touch the product before the purchase. I can't recommend this based on the lack of padding. If you're only ever going to use this to go from home to car, to office or school, it is just fine. But if it might get a little more of a bumpy ride?... keep on shopping. AS for me, I ended up with FINPAC 15.6-inch Hard Laptop Sleeve Case Compatible with 15.6 Inch Acer Aspire, ASIN# B09Q86LXFW, significantly more padding on the inside, hard shell on the outside, and more protection for my uses. About 2$ more as of this review. I can't by any means give this Domiso case 1 star, it is definitely better than that. Nor can I give it the full monty rating of 5 stars either. 2 points off for lack of padding. All the rest is good. Another product seemingly designed by those who might not actually use it themselves, imho. 3 stars is fair. But alas, I might be the only Amazon/online shopper who actually reads the 3 star opinions as well as the 1 & 5 stars too. Quedó bastante grande, si piensas, como yo meterlo en una mochila no va a caber. Eso si el material se ve muy bien y se ve que si protege.

La funda es bastante grande y mi equipo cupo perfectamente, el material no es tan rígido pero creo que va a proteger bastante bien al menos para un uso poco rudo. Pero llego maltratado por ambos lados, con marcas que no se pueden quitar, lo enviaron en una bolsa de plástico que no protegió nada la funda. No tiene opción de cambio, solo de devolución.
