Well made, although made smaller than advertised
I highly recommend this backpack if you’d like something on the smaller end that has many convenient storage options. As a student, I struggle to fit everything I need into this backpack, although the options it provides me definitely make up for it. This is much better suited for hikes (as advertised, of course), although I would not call this a large backpack by any means at all.

Hubby likes this better than me
Husband wanted this very much. I thought it was ridiculously priced for a backpack. My purses don’t cost this much. Lol. However, he’s changed my mind. He loves it. And he abuses it regularly as a field biologist who stores his gear in it and it still holds up. He swears by this brand and likes that it’s American made. He has lots of Carhart items and I suspect that he will have this for a long time.

Nice durable bag pack
Very nice durable materials, lots of pockets and spacious. Perfect for my husband who needs to carry tools, laptop, lunch box, water bottle for work in the city.

Great backpack it’s just not big enough for my needs.
It’s a great backpack if you’re day packing. But this was given as a gift and I need it for overnight long haul hikes.

My bf loved this as a gift!!!
I got this for my bf for his birthday and he absolutely loves it! He’s constantly on the go between work and just general day to day. He’s a salesman so he’s on the road and commutes/walks around NYC and he loves how much you can pack in here and he loves how he can detach packs, etc. He says it holds everything he needs on his day-to-day! If you’re man is someone who appreciates being prepared, who’s active, etc. constantly on the go - this is a great gift!!

Great bag bad straps
The pack itself is great, but I returned because the straps are so undersized and weren't going to stand up to normal Carhartt uses. Wish they made the Tamarac colour in the duffel bag.
