I have a full size 5 in barrel and there is plenty of room

Has anyone tried running a smith & wesson sd9 ve in it? how's it fit?

It worked fine with a 1911. SD9VE is about the same size as a Glock17 and should fit fine.

Can the right hand draw holster be reconfigured to become left hand draw?

it cannot be configured for left hand draw
