The mount seems fine and includes a 17mm articulating ball with a fair amount of adjustability. However, the included foam adhesive was not great - and once replaced with some gel type 3m VHB everything worked then and hasn't fallen off yet

Edit, a week later the adhesive totally failed and came off. Returned it. Don’t waste your money on this cheap garbage.Original (3 stars): Cheap thin plastic that can bend excessively. Doesn’t hold its place very well and vibrates with the car and every little bump causing the gps to be shaky. The adhesive works well but otherwise it’s just cheap quality.

Ball fits my old and my new Garmin. Sticky is so so. Clean and prep surfaces prior to install. Think about how much weight it needs to hold and weigh that against how to mount it. If the weight of the Garmin is held only by sticky then it's likely going to fall off your dash. Have some good double sided tape handy for when it fails. It might help to let it sit under a weight or clipped in place for a day before intended use. A heat gun may help?I got a few different kinds when I ordered this. Garmin's factory vent mount is terrible. Broke two driving down gravel roads. I got a simple vent mount on Amazon that works great and a dash clip pop socket version and a pop socket for my old garmin that works very well too. I did have to use double sided tape to get that one to stay put on the dashboard of my Chevy tracker but I love how it mounts.This mount will work okay. I'd look for other solutions with mechanical attachments if I were doing it over again.

Good mount for adding a gps or phone mount to. This is definitely a better solution than using a suction cup mount.

The adhesive formed a bubble the first day the weather began to warm up, causing the whole mount to become unstuck. I kept it and bought a stronger adhesive to attach it with, its worked fine since.

I liked the adjustability, flexible base, and general performance of the mount. It fit my Satechi charging mount just fine. However, the adhesive that attached the mount to my dashboard gave up within a month on a hot day, which was disappointing.

This mount is intended to replace the usual suction cup mount for Garmin GPS receivers. The idea is that the adhesive mount is more permanent than the suction cup. However, the design and material make this very flimsy and floppy in use. To make matters worse, the adhesive failed after about four months in a vehicle that is driven less than a hundred miles a month and is parked in a carport. The entire mount and GPS receiver were found laying on the dash, the adhesive having released from adhering to the windshield. This is completely unsatisfactory. Between the flimsy design and the failure to stay stuck on glass, I find this mount to be a total waste of money and time. DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF TRASH!

Perfect little mount for what I wanted it for but I had to replace the double-sided tape with some better tape. (3M)

Bought this product so I could stick it to the dash of my vehicle to hold my Garmin GPS. Stuck it to the dash and left it for three days. Found it on the floor of my vehicle after the long weekend. Sticks to nothing now. It would have never held a GPS.

It’s a little small but still did the job

Included adhesive base fell off after a day. Cleaned off the adhesive and replaced with 3M molding tape from a local auto parts store and it's been holding for half a year. The arm joint has serrations to lock in the angle when you tighten the wing nut, but there's backlash in the serrations. My phone can freely bounce up and down a few millimeters when installed.
