I got these to retrofit my Large BGE when I changed out its bands. The shelves attached easily and work exactly as intended. They seem sturdy (you really can't put heavy items on them, but anything reasonable is fine). They look good. The only issue I had is with the nuts and bolts supplied (not the ones used to attach to the Egg, but the ones used to enable the shelves to fold down and up). Even though I used the correct size open-end wrench and Allen wrench, and even though I have years of experience working on bicycles, I found that the Allen heads on more than half of the bolts would strip (deform) due to the amount of torque needed to screw them fully into their nuts. I ended up having to use a pair of pliers to get them even half-way seated. I would guess that the bolts were not properly heat-treated, or perhaps the nuts were slightly too small. It doesn't interfere with the functioning of the shelves, though some of the bolts have lots of play. Other than that small issue (and again, the shelves work fine), I heartily recommend theses shelves.

Item came packaged well, not a big direction person however, easy to figured out installation, very easily and quickly by just unloosing one bolt, slid the lower and upper bans up at a slight angle, inserted two bolts and nuts from the original Green Egg and done. Thanks

Perfect fit for the large Big Green Egg. It’s very easy to install, ships quickly, and arrives safely. I had a minor issue with the hardware. They responded quickly and handled it very professionally. I would absolutely order from them again.

I surprised my husband with the large Big Green Egg. The shelves at the dealer were about $50 dollars more so I bought them through Amazon. They arrived quickly and in perfect condition. My husband installed the shelves in less than 10 minutes. Very simple. He loves the product and the fact that the shelves will not rot or mildew. They look very nice and are sturdy. We are looking forward to years of enjoyment!

My review is similar to the other two star review. We had an issue with one shelf and had to file down the corners to allow shelf to swing into storage position. We also had to bend one of the arms straight to eliminate rubbing of the metal pieces. The one star comments of the metal not exactly fitting to the diameter were ignored because the odd diameter acts as a locking feature to the nuts. I'm writing this prior to utilization of the shelves so hopefully they function properly. I can't imagine the fasteners breaking from a 10-15 lbs pork butt.

The brackets were not formed exactly to the egg but with a few prying the shelves were setup. It really helps in my cooking because my green egg is free standing and not on a table setup. I can lay the tools n plates on the shelves.

Perfect fit, and great quality. They do ship you tons of extra nuts/bolts when you only need 4, which is kinda strange. The directions are very basic and small, but a simple youtube search solved that.
