XGATML FERGRELM Fine English Bone China Mug - Wild Violet Chintz - Adderley Fine Bone China, England

I bought this china mug just because I wanted to have a pretty mug for my afternoon tea. This is so pretty and the violets on it are so realistic. My youngest granddaughter is named Violette so this will be hers someday. It's the perfect size for your cup of tea and to me it seems to keep the tea warmer than a regular mug. My only concern is it is fragile. It's not the thick mugs that you would get for your coffee or whatever so the need to take care is there. It is made in England and is indeed bone china. I guess I'm a bit old fashioned because I like to have the proper item for the occasion and this really fits in making an afternoon tea seem so much more special. So very happy I bought myself a present.

Purchased as a group gift for a beloved "senior" sorority sister, as violets are our signature flower. (Not only did she love it, but each of us who visited her sorta wanted one too! :) )Very happy with the design AND the quality!

I have several Roy Kirkham fine bone China mugs from England. When I ordered this mug I didn’t realize it was Adderley Ceramics fine bone China also from England. This one has become one of my favorites because it is so beautiful. I noticed it is a bit thinner China than the Roy Kirkham but I think I like that better. It’s more elegant.
