Great survival shovel
This shovel is an excellent survival/camping/travel shovel. Yes, there are better shovels on the market, but they are NOT any good for survival/camping/travel. When I go camping, I pack my gear, hike out several miles, then set up my tent. The next day I do it all over again. It is quite hard to pack and hike with a shovel over 6 foot long and that weighs a ton! When I am looking for camping gear, I want gear that is light weight, and serves multiple purposes. This shovel is both. As illustrated in the one picture, the paracord survival kit has many useful items including a fishing kit and a tinder bundle. From my Army days I remember using paracord in parachutes and even experimenting and using paracord for climbing. The shovel has many features. Some of the obvious ones are the shovel, axe, and pickaxe. The shovel head can also be bent to be used as a hoe. As illustrated in one of the pictures, the shovel head has a saw and can be used as an axe. There is also a slot to remove nails and a wrench. The shovel head also has a bottle opener. The axe has a hammer on the back which is great for hammering in tent stakes. On my last camping trip I used the hammer for that exact purpose. The hammer was able to put my tent stakes into earth that was hard packed from a long, hot, dry summer. I also recently used the axe when removing a hedge. I used the axe to help break up all those roots. The axe held up well and maintained its sharpness.Once fully assembled, the shovel is quite long! As illustrated in the picture, the shovel comes up to my upper chest/neck area. It is important to note that I am quite tall (6’7” tall). The shovel can also be assembled and be quite small, as small as an old fashioned entrenching tool. That can be quite handy if you need to dig in enclosed spaces, or quite long for heavy duty digging. I personally wish this product was available during my Army days. It would have been a very useful tool and made my life much easier. This shovel has many more features. It has a compass, a window break, an ice axe attachment, a fire starter, an emergency whistle, and a knife. The knife also has a bottle opener and has an edge that can be used to descale fish ( a nice feature if you use the fishing kit and catch a fish). The shovel handle can be made quite long and used as a walking stick. One of the BEST features of this produce is the guarantee. I have not had any cause to ask for assistance with this product, but did contact customer support on a different product. My question was answered in LESS than 24 hours! The shovel handle is made of some short of heavy duty metal. Thus the shovel is sturdy enough to function well with some heavy duty digging. Despite being metal, the shovel is quite lightweight. As illustrated in one of the pictures, the entire kit comes in a handy travel kit. The kit fits nicely inside a camping backpack. It also has a shoulder strap or straps on the back of the bag to attach to a belt or a bag.I know the price is a little steep, but given all the features AND that it is three tools in one, the price is quite attractive. Again, given the lifetime warranty, there is no risk for the purchaser. The customer service alone makes this product worth the price, in my opinion. I intend to put one of these shovels in my wife’s car and keep one in my car with winter approaching. Winters in the Northern United States can produce large, surprising snow accumulation. Having this shovel to dig a car out in an emergency can be a life saving tool. To me this tool is a “must have.”

Must have shovel for your camping gear!
From the moment I received the shovel, I was extremely impressed with it's design and sturdiness!Pros: Easy converts from a shovel to hoe tool for aiding in quickly digging holes. The saw edge was awesome in allowing me to cut through roots. Also love the carrying pouch for the shovel, allows for easy in storing in my back pack. It also came with a strap to hang it around on shoulder or attach it to the outside of my pack. The handle breaks down into multiple sizes so it can be used with 2 or 1 hand. LOTS of internal water proof storage if needed!Cons: Not too many, but I'm concerned with the sharp edge of the shovel in the event I might hit it on a rock in the ground and damage it. Where I live, there are few rocks in the ground, but I travel for camping so I will be paying attention that then. I know that I will need to keep some oil in my backpack (not a huge deal) to wipe down the shovel after use in the field so to control surface rust. Other than those two things, right now I really don't see any other draw backs, the Yeacool Team put together a great multitool!!

A lot of options in not a lot of weight or space
The media could not be loaded. This product really had surprised me. I knew that I was getting an easy and compact way to carry a hatchet, shovel, pickaxe and ice pick but there are a lot of hidden features within this product. I have found that it has fishing line, hooks, bobs and weights, safety pins, rope, flint (that produces a lot of sparks with the hatchet), a bit set and driver, a cord of saw that can be used to create a bow saw, a flashlight that has three modes and is somewhere between 100-200 lumens I think, 2 compasses, a safety hammer and a glass breaker. Defiantly all of the tools that I could have dreamed of. It took me about an hour without looking at the directions to find all of the hidden features and honestly I felt like a little kid opening a Christmas present and putting together a Lego set. It is very easy to customize the lengths of the tools, you can go all the way up to just shy of 4 feet, I attached an image to give a better size up, for reference I am 6 ft 4 in. I have noticed that the hatched is good on branches but I would not try to fell a tree or anything. Everything has withstood a lot of work that I have put it through without any bending or breaks. I have honestly been shocked by how strong and durable of quality everything is made of, even the case. Overall a good purchase if you want to pack a lot of tools in a very compact caseUpdate: I have used it on a few more camping trips and it is holding up perfectly, nothing bent or chipped

27" Folding Shovel
I just received the Yeacool YSL27B folding shovel. I all fits into a small black case. Just perfect for carrying in the trunk of my car. The handle has two screw-in sections besides the one attached to the blade. The blade can be rotated 90 degrees to use as a hoe or pick. The last section of the handle has a rubber tip. I like the several sections as it can be used kneeling down, or standing up. The blade has a bottle opener, nail puller and hex wrench. Not used very often but nice to have available. It also has a blade, knife on one side and saw edge on the other side. Several other items are a magnesium fire starter if you forget your lighter, and an emergency whistle. I have bought whistles for all my family, but often they forget them.If you are looking for a quality shovel at a very reasonable price, do not pass on this shovel from Yeacool.

Broke at the threads
Looks great upon arrival. But first time I used it one of the attachments broke on the threads. Still like it overall but a little disappointed.
