This was in my vehicle wrapped around the exhaust header for about 2 weeks. In that time lots of the reflective foil came off. The wrap constantly smoked and smelled terrible. It is supposed to smoke at first but mine never stopped smoking and smelling of burnt chemicals for the 2 weeks it was on my vehicle. The wrap looks like it was burnt from the picture. Clearly not meant to touch the exhaust header. This was in a stock 4.0L Jeep engine....nothing crazy just 176 measly HP.

I used this to line the outside of a metal smoker then covered with brick. This wrap is awesome and keeps the heat off the bricks and on the meat! Using is as not intended but it works great. The smoker reaches temps of 200-500 degrees.

Aluminized cover is too thin and can be damaged by simple scratching or unwanted contact with tools, wires or people.

Easy to install and works like a charm try it for yourself you cut to fit and all you need is some metal ties and the job is done
