I had about 12 videos to convert. I stuck the batteries in and went to work. I did the work over a few days. I had no issues with any tape. This adaptor is solid quality and got the job done.

The Good: My family had a large number of these old camcorder cassettes from the 80s and early 90s, but they weren't labeled properly, so we didn't know what was on them. We finally did something about it and bought this tape converter. The mystery has been solved. It takes a single AA battery to power the small mechanics inside to properly prepare the film for the VCR, and I love watching it unspool every time. Device itself is perfect. So great to see the old family videos however cost of device seemed a bit high. However it is an almost obsolete device so assuming rarity drives high price.

Works great. Able to transfer my 25 y o mini VHS's to CD's with ease. Saved lots of money.

Thanks to this amazing item, my wife can relive her childhood memories. This things world nothing short of a miracle. We honestly looked into all the available options and this was by far the least expensive. I am extremely happy with the product thus far and would recommend to anyone in search of reliving they're memories from old VHS-C tapes.

this thing gets the job done. all you have to do is add batteries and pop in your tape and then pop it in the vcr. BOOM instant nostalgia reliving child hood memories through family home videos :)

When this arrived the lid hinge was already broken. Very cheap plastic! Since I was able to use it with great care to not break the other hinge, I decided to keep it and get the 8 tapes I needed to copy done. I would not recommend this brand if you are planning the us it more that a couple of times.
