just what i needed
I bought a lamp without a shade. then i found the shade i wanted and bought it. I normally don't buy separately so i was very confused on what size shade holder it needed. i bought this one and it was perfect!!! i was able to adjust to any size i needed and it has all the parts to use no matter what type of shade you have.

PERFECT NOW.,BUT!
I was ready to send it back immediately, but thanks to hubby it is ok now! It took ALOT of adjustments! Even had to put a "watch battery" under one side of harp to level it! It is very sturdy now!

Adapt your lampshade to any lamp!
Bought this after my purchase at a big box DIY store yielded just one size of lamp converter and didn’t fit. Amazon to the rescue! I was able to create a harp to fit a vintage lampshade to a new lamp easily and cheaply.

Do NOT purchase these - flimsy and broken
I was very excited to find these on Amazon. I ordered 4. They arrived quickly and I opened them to use to put new shades on the lamps for my daughters bedrooms. The first was a bit difficult to adjust but that often happens with the first of anything and I figured ‘now I have it’ ... the remaining 3 were horrible - the adjustment pin on one was completely sheeted off ... another was bent ... and the last one was just junk.I am *not* happy at all and am now on the way to the hardware store to see if I can find what I need. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

Overall solid; Height adjustment didn’t work; finial is small
Does what it says and was exactly what I needed to convert an uno based Ikea lamp. I unfortunately had one side where the stem on the piece you turn to adjust the height was too big and would not turn, there’s really no way I can see to fix it unless maybe you have a teeny file to shave some metal off. Luckily I didn’t need the height.Another thing to note - the finial is not particularly wide and the shade I had had a hole that just barely had enough overlap so I can place it in a way the shade should stay on, but if i move it a little rhe finial ends up entirely in the middle of the spider hole - ie it doesn’t even do anything at that point. I will probably go buy a new finial to keep the shade on better.Otherwise, solid and does what it needs to conversion wise.

Easy to install, adjustable to desired height
This was exactly what I needed to mount a new lampshade on an existing lamp that did not include a harp. It was easily adjusted for the correct height to match the new shade
