I bought one because I am an NASP certified Basic Archery Instructor (BAI) and I need to be proficient with it in front of my students. This means practicing at home in our yard. Despite also owning a longbow, and Samick Sage takedown recurve, and a Cartel Fantom recurve, the Genesis is still the bow I enjoy using the most. Well made, easy to service, very consistent to use, and nigh-on indestructible. Every serious archer should own one of these. Props to desertcart for the fantastic service and fast shipping.

I love this bow

exactly what we needed
my child is on the school archery team and we got the bow in 2 days with shipping, compared to ordering straight from Genesis which was going to take longer. He got the color red, its not too bright and has done the job.

Fantastic bow, not for me though
Ordered this for a handicapped family member, but found that since it had zero let-off, it was more like a compound recurve bow, not a plain compound bow. My family member had to have some let off while aiming because of weak muscles, so I had to return it. Other than the lack of let-off, I think it is a really good bow.
