The longest lasting of my Mastiff puppy's toys!
I have an English Mastiff puppy, Odin, who is now 8 months old. We got this cow toy for him when he was about 10 weeks old (he was around 20 pounds then) and it finally became decapitated when he was 7 months old (125 pounds). It outlasted so many other plush/squeaky toys, many of which didn't make it a day before their fluff and squeakers were removed. This toy had withstood a lot of tug play, being chewed, pooped and peed on (during potty training time...ugh), and has gone through the washer/dryer many times coming out bright white again. The fabric feels quite thick and rugged, and seams are sturdy. My dog LOVES that each limb has it's own pitch of squeaker in addition to main body squeaker. The squeakers also never "died" (stopped squeaking) as I've noticed in other toys, until they were completely removed from the toy as described below. The first thing we noticed wearing on the cow version here was that the black spots are another outside layer of fabric and they got chewed easily. However, once those got ripped it didn't seem to affect the integrity of the main white outer fabric layer. My dog also loved the "fur" on the tail tip and he eventually severed the tail at the base, but the rest of the toy lasted months more. He then managed to pick at two of the feet to extract the feet squeakers from their tips, but this seemed to take a while to accomplish. Finally, the end came almost 5 months after purchase when the head started to rip off the body (all 4 limbs still attached). Once Cow was decapitated and the fluff and main squeaker removed, we had to give it a solemn doggie toy burial.I was out at a store (Orvis) with Odin today and we were surprised to see in their dog section COW on the wall! He was so excited and seemed to really miss the toy, so I ended up purchasing from this non-Amazon location (sorry, Amazon!). It seems to be exactly the same but they have their store name embroidered on Cow's butt near the heart. I may update later with further review of how long it lasts starting with an 8 month, 140 lb Mastiff puppy.

Great toy, trim the hair.
Moose arrived yesterday and was an INSTANT hit with our 5month old sharpei-beagle mix who is an aggressive biter and rips through just about everything instantly. I love the thickness and durability, although I am a bit worried about the main body of the toy, I’m not sure what’s inside there (apart from a squeaker) or how long it might take to create a rip in it. But it does have good reviews so I’m hopeful! It seems very sturdy, is cute, the dog loves it, there are crinkley sounds from the antlers, and a squeaky belly, so it’s a great “baby”. The one thing I will say about a dog toy that has “hair” on it, is that, it sort of doesn’t make sense. The beard got ripped off this Moose about one minute after playing with it, and I had to fish the “hair” ball out of puppy’s mouth, and then give Moose a “haircut”. He still looks awesome with his shorter “do” and it wasn’t difficult to trim. Just should maybe come that way, is all.

Ripped open in minutes
My 8 month old puppy eviscerated this toy in minutes—the green “tough” lining is easy to rip and each toy has 4 or 5 squeakers and I had to track them all down to make sure she hadn’t eaten one. Not any better than a regular, cheaper chew toy.

Love!
My senior frenchie likes large plush toys. The size is perfect and much bigger than I was expecting. It’s probably one of the best quality toys I’ve found on here.

Fun toy
I purchased this plush dog toy for my furry friend, and it's become his favorite companion! The plushy toy has soft, cuddly, and adorable design. It has durable construction and withstands gentle chewing. Perfect size for snuggling. Easy to clean and maintain. My dog adores the toy's soothing texture and squeakers! It encourages calm play and relaxation. Sturdy enough for gentle tug-of-war.Only issue is the faux hair on the tail, as the pup chewed it off fairly quickly and swallowed some as well. I had to cut it off to prevent him from swallowing more...

Very cute but not hardy
This toy is very cute, and my dog loved it immediately. It is a nice shape for light fetch. However, I think the quality is poor. One of the sqeakers in its hands was broken upon arrival-- no big deal, it's got four others.... but then it gets a hole at a seam along its body within a month of purchase, with stuffing slipping out.My dog does not chew his stuffed toys and usually babies them. Similar toys from other manufacturers have lasted a year or more, and we usually only replace them when they get gross and washing no longer really helps. The old toy we bought this one to replace actually outlived this one, even though that one was already >1 year old.I also have a minor gripe with the fuzzy fabric on the body of the plush-- it's kind of wooly, and dirt and debris sticks to it a lot. I think even if it didn't have a tear at the seam we would have to get rid of it earlier because it would get dirtier much faster than other toys. All in all, I don't recommend it. Get a toy from a different manufacturer.

Get the Octopus
Our dog loves these toys and he plays pretty rough. So far he's seemed to love the moose more than all the others.. Unfortunately he ripped the head off pretty quickly and proceeded to try to destuff him. We've had the octopus from this same company for quite some -- he likes it quite a bit and it seems to have a more durable design for rough playing dogs.

My dogs love HuggleHounds!
These don't necessarily last super long, but they do last longer than a lot of other dog toys. My one dog in particular is a big chewer. He has been able to tear these open to get to the fluff, or chew off a leg or ear, but it takes awhile to do it. For more gentle chewers, they are great! Easy to throw too, and play tug of war with your dog.

Good dog toy
I gave the dog toy as a gift and was told it was well received by the pooch.

Robustes Spielzeug

Good quality but not for chewy dogs
Good item, smaller than expected but it was in pieces within 5 min.Ideal for small dogs and non chewers.

Saftey
When first asked to review I was premature in my opinion and only gave it a 3 star rating. Now that my German Shepard has played with it for a number of days (she is a vigorous chewer) I must give the 5 star rating that it fully deserves. It truly is tuff and withstands her hardy chewing. I've taken it upon myself to order a second to replace this one when I want to wash it.

My dog loves his hugglehound family
This is my third hugglehound purchase. My dog loves them and they are hard wearing and washable.
