BOSCH RSM5046 5 in. Hard Hook-and-Loop Multi-Hole Sanding Pad

Works great but the price is ridiculous

Bosch should have included this pad with the dander. It works so much better getting a flat surface than the medium pad.

I'm currently using this in conjunction with an Abranet grip face pad. The combo gives me something similar to a medium sanding pad. Works great. Speed, dust collection and finish are amazing. The hard pads give better performance and flatter finish particularly on soft woods.

It’s a fine pad. My only complaint is the price. The older version of the Bosch sander had a mount with 3 studs and the replacement pad costs only $13. This new one has 4 studs and somehow that nearly quadrupled the price.

I’m replacing a cedar fence with redwood rails and used this pad for six hours a day, ten days total (mirka mesh sanding disks) on Bosch get75 6n (maximum oscillating and turbo mode) and I’m really surprised that it lasted that long. I was placing a bit of pressure on the sander. I paid $40.00 each (purchased several) I found out later that the price was increased to $50.00. I can understand a buck or maybe two but ten buck is overpriced. If this is inflation, I’m not buying it and will find another alternative. The price of my Bosch tool is also up by 100%, another DOINK !not buying that either

I was able to modify and use with the old paper.. it's too bad you can't use the older pads on the newer unit

Funciona muy bien y durable.

This sanding pad came apart after a few hours of use. I believe this is a defect in the design of this particular product. It worked flawlessly until the pad detached from the mounting plate. I have never seen this happen in my over 35 years of experience with sanders.

When you purchase this Bosch sander it comes with a medium sanding pad and I found that sanding on large flat services it was just to soft. Which is why I purchased this hard pad, it’s great for flat surfaces as it provided better contact to your work surface and less wear and tear on the pad.

Es lo que se espera de Bosch

The hard platen for Bosch 6 inch sanders is satisfactory however the price from Amazon seems a little unreasonable. I don’t know what other retailers would charge but a price of Velcro backing pads…. I paid a lot for this

Good
