Apex Legends: Pathfinder's Quest (Lore Book)

I got this book as a gift for someone and they loved it! It was brand new and came wrapped in a protective plastic when it arrived. The book itself has fantastic art work and extensive back stories for each character.

Such a beautiful book with amazing art and filled with rich Apex lore. The book came quickly and in perfect condition thank you, would recommend to all other apex players

Let me start by saying this book is not what I expected. Being it was from Dark Horse, I was expecting more of a comic style/ graphic novel rather than a series of lore dumps, backstories, and dialogues blown up into a big book with pictures strewn throughout. That's what this is, it's a full-on lore book detailing the stories and relationships of the Apex Legends cast as Pathfinder makes inquiries with them as to who his creator is. If you don't like a lot of reading, this is certainly not the book for you, I'd suggest watching or reading a synopsis of the book's events.Now if you like tons of art, the world and characters of Titanfall/Apex Legends, and having a peek behind the curtain at what's really going on in Respawn's fictional universe, then this is absolutely the book for you. Throughout this book you'll read about the motivations of each Apex Legend, and hear stories and events you wouldn't otherwise know about from their perspectives. The entire book is set between Seasons 7 and 8 (No Fuse, sorry friends) framed in the manner of Pathfinder posing questions to his fellow legends in an attempt to find the truth of his origins, which leads to them delving into their pasts and the ongoings of the Frontier. There is a TON of good lore on display, and a few surprise reveals I don't want to spoil here, but if you have any interest in Revenant's past, where the rift on Olympus came from, or what Octane's face looks like under the mask and goggles, then don't pass this book up.*As a personal note, Pathfinder has been my favorite character since the game released, and this book was everything for me. Learning about Pathfinder's origins, how the other legends feel about him, and how he feels about the other legends and the world was all information I didn't know I needed until I had it. I'm so thankful to Respawn for taking the time to flesh out the legends in this format, as now I have a newfound respect for the game as a whole. If we never got another one of these books, I'm glad they chose to convey the story through Pathfinder's perspective. 10/10, Amazing.

Pathfinder’s Quest is one of the most unique books I’ve ever read. Following our favorite robot throughout his quest to find his creator’s identity involved interviews, short stories, new artwork, and so much more that kept me interested until the very last sentence.I will say the story was slow to start and I didn’t feel like Lifeline’s and Gibraltar’s stories had as much of an impact as the others. I wish their stories were a bit more focused towards other events in their life. But I understand why the writers chose to focus on what we already know about.Wattson’s and Wraith’s chapters were truly my favorites. I loved the contrast between them, and the different sides we saw to their characters! Bangalore’s also kept me taking in so much new info and I loved learning more about her brother.Mirage’s felt a bit more slowed down but it was still a sweet chapter with some small bits of really important lore clues. Bloodhounds chapter made me... think a lot. There was so much to unpack from their story, honestly. They are my second favorite character so I enjoyed their chapter but theirs was definitely a more bittersweet story than what I had been hoping for from them.Loba and Octane felt a bit rushed over but to be fair, they weren’t as essential in this story and we’ve gotten a lot of their lore in recent months. Crypto’s and Caustic’s chapter was long overdue in my opinion lol. That’s all I can really say about that.Revenant’s chapter was really interesting to me because it definitely showed a lot more of that inner personality we haven’t seen yet. It also freaked me out a bit.All in all it did all the characters pretty good, and it was well worth the purchase. It made me like Pathfinder quite a bit more and I feel like I understand the characters quite a bit better now. Highly recommend it if you love the lore of this game, there’s simply so much to discuss and wonder about it’ll keep you entertained for a long time.

I don't know where to start. This book was so well done from start to finish. I remember the authors (I think Manny but perhaps also Tom) warning us not to just skip to a chapter because it was all one big story, oh man yes it was and it is a cover to cover READ. Beautifully well done, beautiful art, beautiful story. I laughed (alot) and I cried (don't tell anyone).I learned so much about the world of the game I've been enjoying for these past 2 years, this was fantastic. Well done in all aspects and even at 207 pages, it could have been longer. I WANTED MORE. I hope there will be a similar book if not next year then for the four year anniversary. Please get this book if you love any or every legend!! AND GET THE HARDCOVER. I can't believe it was ONLY $40 like my god. To me, it's so much more valuable. I love it. I was gifted this and I am honored to own this book. It's GREAT.

Book was WAY bigger than I expected. Each page is written in such an interesting way. Its not just purely words, there are places where its written like a script. Like a history book. Filled with pictures or tidbits of planets, corporations, and communities we all knew.Its so worth it. I got it preordered and the wait was so worth it. Cant wait to read even more of this(I’m not a fast reader but need to share how great this book is)After reading the book: Okay. That went a whole different place than I expected. It all connected and made sense. It was an emotional rollercoaster that leaves you happy and wanting more. The book does answer many questions people have had, showed more sides to all the legends, but also leaves you wanting more. It’s really incredible, especially the quality of the pages and the pictures to go along with them.

Me encantó la historia, lo malo es que no puedes dar mucho zoom a la hoja lo que lo hace un poco complicado de leer, pero el libro es hermoso!!! Actualización: compré una galaxy tab, y se ve gigante! Lo amo <3

As a hardcore Titanfall fan, this book was even better than I expected. I've read 1 chapter and its already revealed more about the universe of Apex/Titanfall than I thought the entire book would!

Dude mucho en comprar la versión física. Pero al tener el libro en mis manos, siendo yo un fan de Apex y de Titanfall, sentí que la emoción por saber más de la historia fue suficiente para recomendar el libro.

Came quickly and it's huge. Lots to read which is nice. 10/10!
