Beautiful book. Surprised it does not come with a dust jacket to protect such a sturdy and beautiful binding, but that's ok. The book is very high quality! The stories are wonderful for young women, ages 9-16 I'd say, though I'm quite a bit older than that and very much enjoyed them. The layout of the book is interesting and engaging. The pop culture references through the book add humor and give it a sense of "realness" in the fantasy. I'd recommend this hardbound collection for any young girl who likes a good adventure!

Amazing story! It was a gift for a friend and they loved it so much. We've been looking all over the place for the series, and this was the perfect compilation of everything we could have wanted from this. We fell in love with the story because of its awesome representation of the LGBTQ+ community!!

Five stars based on my teenage daughter's reaction as this was bought as a gift for her. She had read a couple of these graphic novels at the library but could not get anymore and wanted to read some more so we purchased these. She has thoroughly enjoyed these.

An action packed riff on mythology...of childhood, feminism, and actual mythology! A great read for women of all ages, sure to leave you feeling hungry for more adventures.

In love with this. Friendship to the max

As good as its reputation. This made me want to be a teenaged girl again.That's not to say that I ever was a teenaged girl, but that I remember wanting to be one when I was young and this made me want it again.So fun, so bonkers, so un-self-conscious in its references to the X-Men, to Raiders of the Lost Ark, to John Hughes movies, to everything marvelous ever. I'm so glad that I held out for this glorious collected edition of the first eight issues. It's a gorgeous artefact. I loved everything about this book.
