GUESS Men's Stainless Steel Connect Smart Watch - Amazon Alexa, iOS and Android Compatible iOS and Android Compatible

I really want to love this watch. The main reason I purchased it was because of the Alexa compatibility. Bottom line, the watch is nice. I can make calls relatively easily and send and receive texts. I have not been able to get Alexa working and the Guess app is ridiculous. There are no back button capabilities so I have to keep getting out of it and going back in. The Guess website is basically no help. It told me to get new firmware for the watch. Really???? I just took it out of the box today!! So I did that. I then restarted my phone. Then restarted the watch. Nothing. No "Alexa Tab" as the FAQ's Alexa section told me I should see. I sent an e-mail to the Guess Connect support people. We shall see where it goes. Bottom line...If Alexa is not part of this, I will return it. I guess I am used to Amazon products. I have purchased the Kindle Fire, Echo, Tap, Dot, Fire TV and yes...I even have a Fire Phone. I have never had this much of an issue setting up any of the aforementioned products.More to come if I hear back from anyone.UPDATE!! 1-18-17- Never received an e-mail or call from the Guess people. Called Amazon and spoke to Hunter. He was great. He got me a number for the Guess people. I called and pressed all the appropriate numbers only to be disconnected almost immediately. I called back. Spoke to Stephanie. She could not help but transferred gave me a number of someone who could. Called that number. Pressed all the appropriate numbers and was quickly disconnected. Called back and spoke to a man who did not give his name. I explained I could not connect the watch to Alexa and that was the main reason I purchased the watch. Was asked what type of phone I had. I replied android. He then told me to check the Guess Connect APP version I had downloaded. I went to the app and told him v2.0.3. He said that was the problem. Alexa will not work without v2.0.5. I explained that was not an option ion the google play app store. And furthermore, the app store states that v2.0.3 was released last Wednesday, 1/11/17 and it specifically addresses Alexa. He said no, I need v2.0.5. Ok, I replied. How can I get this. He stated he would look into it and call me tomorrow. More to come.**Final Update** 2-2-17- I will keep this brief. My Fire phone is not capable of downloading the Guess Connect App in it's entirety. The Alexa piece would not come through. I contacted Amazon at least 9 times and unfortunately I could not get anybody to help. The Fire Phone is no longer supported. I purchased a new cell phone, under duress, and the app came through perfectly. The watch now has Alexa capabilities and I would like to change my review of the watch to 5 stars. It works like a dream. Texting, calls, and Alexa work perfectly.

YOU PUSH THE BOTTOM BUTTON FOR 2 SECONDS TO POWER ON THE WATCH. PAIR IT WITH YOUR PHONE( Bluetooth on ok). EASY. NOW THE PART NOT IN THE INSTRUCTIONS ANYWHERE. PLEASE READ:QUICK PRESS OF TOP BUTTON ON RH SIDE OF THE WATCH AND YOU GET GOOGLE ASSISTANT NOT ALEXA. I LOOKED EVERYWHERE AND COULD NOT GET ALEXA TO ANSWER. HERES THE TRICK, HOLD THE TOP BUTTON DOWN! BOOM ALEXA IS THERE. WOW THAT NEEDS ADDED TO THE MANUAL. WATCH IS GREAT, MANUAL SUCKS.Its great. It has a lot of cool features without looking like a TV strapped to your wrist. Looks like a large watch, a nice large watch that is a little heavy but not too bad. I would recommend this product.Cons: can't play music from Amazon. Seems limited a bit. It would be nice if I could get it to talk to my Dot and Fire TV. I'm still looking to see if that's possible. I just got the watch so if I figure that out I will add it to this review later. I want a real help section, the basics are there but my God you don't even show us how to talk to Alexa, the reason we bought this model of smart watch. That's kinda stupid.This watch does a lot more than it says so poke around and try things. It's a quality piece. I can't understand why people build all these features into smart phones and watches and never tell anyone. Why would ya do that? Anyway yep buy this if you want an Alexa watch. The speaker is tiny so she sounds a little muffled but you can hear her just fine.We finally have a real Dick Tracy watch! Enjoy.Edit: I found the real owners manual. Go to the Guess app on your phone. Settings-Help and Support-Owners Manual. There is the real manual. There should have been a printed copy of that included in the box, thats too hard to find. There is a lot of good info there though.

Beautiful watch. People don’t realize it’s a smart watch. BuT only for notifications. It’s limited but elegant. Stylish.Update: less than 3 months after I purchased the watch , the battery died. When we carefully went to take the battery out, the back of the watch which is plastic, snapped. We contacted amazon support however it was past the time in which we could be assisted by Amazon. They did reach out on our behalf to the seller. When we did speak with the distributor, we were given an address to mail the item back for repairs. We have to pay for the shipping back and forth. For a$200 watch to be broken less than 90 days after purchase is extremely disappointing.

Best smartwatch that look like a luxury watch notification is really good even under the sun you can read the notification.

Very nice. Get lots of compliments. Problem is no Guess app works with it. Only good as a watch, receive and read texts or take calls if phone is not with you. Can't do anything else. Rated a 3 because I bought it to connect to Amazon Alexa but it will not connect.
