The strands come apart very easily. With that said I put a small strip of tape on each end to keep things tidy. Another person suggested noting the ends. This is going to be a little tough to use in projects.

This metallic floss comes in beautiful colors and is great to use for crafts. It's great price on Amazon in comparison to other stores.

It's pretty but difficult to work with on a project.

I love the sparkle they give my project. I have been embroidering for years, and this thread can make water look lovely. I also used it on the wings of dragon flies as well. However it would be difficult for someone who has not embroidered for very long. I actually separated my thread, using three metallic with three regular threads and it worked great.

I wanted to add metallic fibers to a batch of dipped handmade paper but most metallic threads are on the expensive side. This floss was a great compromise with great results. Just remember you add fiber/threads to vat NOT your blender (that’s a mess, smiling). I’ll buy again and highly recommend. And I also use this bread in stitching and needle work projects too.

Nice. Really pretty, saturated colors. Pain to work with, but worth the effort. Tip: when you cut them, put a little knot on both ends, they come apart pretty easily

Threads separated too easily. Not a soft cotton, almost like wire.

As with all metallic threads these are not easy to use. However, a little bit of practice and preparation does make it easier. The main trick is to realise 2 strands of this is equivalent to 1 strand of cotton thread so if you want to use it easily, separate the treads to double what you normally use. DON'T try and sew with the whole skein. You'll have a tangled mess.The colours were very good and the thread itself was not as brittle as some others I've used. Plus you get a lot in the pack. Pretty good all in all!

Das Garn sieht optisch auf jeden Fall klasse aus. Die Verarbeitung ist allerdings ein Graus 🙈Ich habe versucht einen Stern damit zu sticken.Das Ganze hat damit geendet, dass ich frustriert eine Stunde Arbeit wieder aufgetrennt habe. Das Garn liegt nicht richtig auf dem Stoff auf, sondern verbiegt sich während des stickens.Füllstiche sind daher nahezu unmöglich.Das Garn ist ziemlich „drahtig“. Dadurch wird schon das einfädeln in die Nadel zur Herausforderung.Ich würde es nicht nochmals kaufen.
