Very sticky, really work
Work well! I cut them and line my window sill with them and it catches all the flies and fruit flies/gnats.

It works, but not as well as a cider vinegar trap
I was pretty excited to catch a fruit fly and a house fly the first day I put this trap out. However, the following 2 days no one got stuck at all and I noticed fruit flies were definitely in the house. Sigh. SO, I made the classic cider vinegar trap in a bowl with dish soap and a punctured saran wrap cover. I placed the bowl and another sticky trap right by my bananas (classic fruit fly attractant.) I tried to ignore it for a day because just yuck. The following morning there were indeed a couple flies stuck to the trap, but there were 10 times more drowned in my old fashioned trap. If you don't mind a big sticky bright yellow rectangle added to your decor, then this probably isn't a terrible purchase for the price, just don't expect it to do all the work for you!

It's not bad...
I ordered this because there were a couple fruit flies that were bothering me in the kitchen. It was easy to set up. Literally took seconds and we waited...I checked after 3 hours and it already got 4 fruit flies sticking on it! Happy to say that I haven't seen anymore fruit flies flying around. It does take a little while for the flies to realize it is there, but once they land on it they stay there!

Originally I didn't think they would work but they do
My first impression was these were not sticky enough.. I put some up in the kitchen thinking the gnats would fly over the sink and get attracted to the fly paper.. Well that did not work.. I put 2 of them up an they have only caught one gnat.. So by my computer I have a led shop light that I use as a desk light.. The gnats like to fly around that and my computer screen which is a giant flat panel tv.. . They like the screen and the led light.. Immediate, there were about 1/2 dozen gnats on that fly tap within 10 minutes.. So I put up about 6 of them and they all have about the same amount of gnats on it now after 12 hours each have about 10 or more gnats on it.. It helps to turn off all the lights and leave the led light on... I put some outside as well and they are catching other insects.. I think the gnats are coming from my AC or from the sink... So I'm going to put a little bleach in my AC and drain pipes.. These things were driving me nuts before the traps went into play.. Their really hard to kill by hand when there's a lot of them.. They just keep coming... So now I can go back productively working on my computer... I will buy again.. I also bought led night light traps and I'm returning them because they are way more effective.. The nightlights didn't catch any gnats and cost almost 3x as much.. If I didn't have these fly traps gnats would be driving me nuts.. They don't work perfectly.. I have a few gnats flying around right now but before I had dozens.. but those gnats will end up on the paper. These are pretty wide and double sided.. They are about the size of my hand's length in both directions.. I'm 6'0" so my hands are pretty long.. They are not as sticky as the one's that roll out, but they do work just as well and if you accidentally touch them you won't get all gooey. but some of the smaller gnats seem to have been able to land and take off on them unless the get their wings on them.. but apparently they work because it's solved most of the problem. As for flies I do not know.. I don't have a fly issue...

Catches the small fruit flies
If you cut this into thin strips and leave it near the windows and plants where fruit flies gather, it will trap the tiny fruit flies. For the larger ones, it has only trapped a few of them. The older ones are either more wary, or they can escape the surface. i don't know which, haven't seen it while happening. I have not had any results from trying to put it in with the pot with the plants themselves, as others have said they did. It is super sticky, so you have to take care while handling it or it sticks to you and anything else it comes in contact with - but that is what makes it effective. Overall, I am satisfied because it has trapped many of the baby fruit flies, so overall, that should reduce the number of them that I have to combat. It certainly works better than any of the other things I've tried.

The fly flew away
These are nothing to write home about.. I put one next to my fruit bowl.. and it caught a big house fly.. but I noticed the fly in a couple different locations on the trap, not thinking it would get all legs free... and the next day, it wasn't on the trap anymore...😒So, I guess if you see a fly... somehow press it down to make sure it's stuck stuck... gnats have stuck fine, but they're not attracted to it, so they still fly around freely until they bump into it.. I've had 3 of them up for about 2 weeks now (2 in the kitchen, and 1 by my cats litter box) and have caught a total of 4 gnats... and 1 house fly that got away.

Useless on their own, but part of a killer combo
These will not attract flies, plain and simple. But if they land on them, they will almost always stick. So how do we get them to land on them?Take a small dish/bowl with a sturdy, flat base and fill it with a mix of apple cider vinegar and water. Then take one of these sheets and cut a small circle (about one inch) in the center. Place the sheet over the bowl so the hole is over the middle. The vinegar will attract the flies and they'll land on the sheet and stick. This combo works far better than just leaving the vinegar solution out and hoping they drown in it and a million times better than just leaving out a sticky sheet.
