I'm not a massage therapist, merely a husband who has discovered the fun of giving my bride a massage. Why did it take so long to figure out how much fun this could be?So, keep in mind that I am a rank amateur. I have never owned another massage table. Professional massage therapists might well have a different view.We recently took a massage class for couples taught by a massage school, and I discovered how much easier giving a massage would be if my sweetie was on a real massage table.After some web surfing, I decided on this massage table looked like it offered a good balance between features and price. One important aspect - I know who the manufacturer is and how to get in touch with them. I doubt that I will have any problems, but if I do, I can contact the manufacturer for assistance. With some brands, that is not the case.The table arrived promptly and in good condition. The package includes the table, carry case, face cradle, arm rest, half-round bolster. a four CD set of spa music and a package of disposable face cradle covers.The carry case is sturdy nylon, with several pockets including a long pocket for the bolster. There are sturdy handles to help you move the table around. Keep in mind that even folded up, the table is heavy and bulky. I would not want to cart this around town on a regular basis. Even moving it around from one room to another at home, it feels large, heavy and awkward. The 54 pound shipping weight is pretty much all table.The table is solid. With my bride onboard, I could really lean into the massage. No give, flexing, shifting or creaking regardless of whether I was working from one end or the other, or from the side. She felt comfortable and secure. I feel confident that the table is well built and will hold up to home use with no trouble.The cover is a reasonably soft vinyl type material. While there was a light plastic smell when I first unwrapped the package, the smell did not last. I unwrapped and set up the table. When I came back two hours later I did not notice any smell.The cushioning seemed about right. Enough to be comfortable, firm enough to be supportive.The face cradle system appears to be the "ergonomic" version listed on the Master Massage website. The cradle locks in place and seems secure enough. The crescent face pillow is soft and supportive and is held firmly in place.The included half round bolster is a nice bonus. Soft enough, but not too soft. About as long as the table is wide. It seemed about the right size for my bride. I had ordered a seperate full round bolster, but am returning it. The included half round bolster does the job nicely.The package includes four CDs of generic spa music. Sort of pleasant, mindless music with a good bit of nature sounds thrown in. My bride seemed to enjoy it, and I used it to keep track of time. I wouldn't have paid extra for the CDs, but consider them a nice bonus.We have not used the arm rest, haven't even taken it out of the plastic. My bride just puts her arms up on the table along side her. So, it doesn't seem necessary.I'm happy with my purchase, but more importantly my bride felt comfortable and pampered. So, it's a hit.I am definitely happy I bought it. Much easier to give my bride a nice massage than if she were lying down on our bed or a sofa. Its just the right thing and makes giving the massage MUCH easier.

This is the third table I've owned since 2007. The first one was a table with an adjustable backing, that I never used though I thought I would. My second table was just a regular massage table. Both were by Best Massage, both are still in use. I sold the first one. The second one was gifted to me.Helpful tips: You can go less expensive on a massage table using a pillow top cover per a massage therapist tip to help with slipping the hands underneath the body for certain parts in specific positions.I went with this one because of the wood, I love the thickness, I love the extra width of the table so I do not have to deal with armrests. I enjoy the dual headrest ends on this table. The people I’ve given massages to prefer this head rest over the standard ones I’ve used in the pastFor me, I spent the extra money on Massage Best 60.00 carrier without wheels. It was well worth the extra cost for the storage space and the thickness. Comparing the two side by side the one that comes with, versus the one you can purchase separately. I like the one i can purchase separately. It has two buckles on top, two side buckles for extra support when carrying. Plus the 5 separate pocketsYou do not need to buy the separate bag. For me, it is well worth it because of the buckles and the pocketThe wood matches my desk, a plus for me! The padding is of an amazing comfort level. For me it is easy to set up. I’m 5’7, not very tall nor do I have long arms. The build underneath is far sturdier than others I’ve used in the corners where the leg attaches.I look forward to enjoying this table for many many years. If you are a first time table buyer, this may be steep. If you are into Massage as a passion or serious spa level. This portable table hits the budget perfectly. Including for students to be! If I were a student, this table with the spare bag would be a go to must.

Well, shucks! I thought I'd just written a review about this table and realized after the fact I'd written it for a Sierra Comfort Luxe massage table that I did not, in fact, receive. There was a major screw-up with the first order of that Sierra Comfort Luxe -- not worth going into .... but bottom line is I did NOT buy that Sierra Comfort Luxe table, but instead bought this one. THIS table is the one I thought I was reviewing earlier. Bottom line: this table is very sturdy & well-built. It arrived on time & in great condition. Wooden legs & end pieces very well-built. Only thing I'm not crazy about is how the head rest piece fits into the table. After inserted all the way in (and I do use the arm rest attachment), it still does not fit "snug" up against the table, but instead juts out just a bit. It's not terrible, but I'm used to working with a different table in our other home, and with my other table, the head rest fits snugly up against the table. This one requires the person, when they turn over onto their stomach, to stretch up just a tiny bit more to settle into the head rest than they would have to if I was using my other table. The sand color is very nice. I love the bonus 4-CD set of relaxing music that came with the table. Overall, it's a great purchase and I'm very satisfied! -- Karen C.
