Solid Budget Katana
The media could not be loaded. Comparison:Hanwei Practical Special Katana (top) $265Yongli Katana (middle) $134Tozando Toryumon V2 Iaito (bottom) $337I bought Coldsteel Katana Machete to cut the branches at my backyard, but returned it and found an YouTube video about Yongli Wakizashi review and then I was curious about Katana from Yongli.Yongli did a great job to make a nice budget friendly katana. It’s lightweight, well balanced. Feel like swinging an Iaito. I actually like this over Hanwei katana (weight balance is heavier on tip side and feel heavy) and it’s half the price. One caveat is when I do Notto (putting back to Saya) it’s get stuck if I don’t put it in a good angle. It's a Saya problem because I didn't have a problem with the Tozando Iaito saya with Yongli katana. If you are doing frequent batto/notto, probably need a new saya or DIY grinding inside of the stock saya.
