Great product
We have used them 3 weeks so far. And they have worked flawlessly. Easy to set up. Only one button for the singers to possibly hit and it is recessed to prevent accedantal presses, fantastic sound quality. If any complaints it is the lack of color availability of the end caps as part of the original package. Every unit comes with two black and two grey. If you have more than one unit distinguishing between mics is a problem. But there are a few more colors you can buy. Keep in mind if you are getting multiple units. These are well worth the cost. I will come back and update if issues develope later

Holy Clarity, Batman! Perfect for Church Services*
We recently upgraded to the **Shure BLX288/PG58 Wireless Microphone System** for our church, and let me just say—this system is a *blessing*. Whether it’s the pastor delivering a heartfelt sermon, the choir belting out a hymn, or an enthusiastic parishioner giving announcements like they’re hosting the Oscars, these mics deliver crystal-clear sound every time.Range So Good, It’s Almost MiraculousWith a 300-foot range, these microphones are unstoppable. I’m pretty sure our pastor could walk all the way to the parking lot and still be heard loud and clear. (He hasn’t tried yet, but give it time.) It’s perfect for when the choir director gets a little *too* animated and starts pacing like a TED Talk speaker—no more cutting out mid-“Hallelujah!”Battery Life: As Reliable as the Sunday SunriseThe 14-hour battery life is a game-changer. We can go through back-to-back services, a choir practice, and still have juice left over for Wednesday Bible study. No more awkward moments where someone’s mic dies mid-prayer, leaving the congregation to awkwardly guess if they should say "Amen" or not.Durability That’s Practically HeavenlyThese microphones have already survived their share of accidental drops, overly enthusiastic hand-offs, and the occasional curious toddler grabbing at them. Shure built these things to last—because if there’s one thing church sound equipment needs, it’s resilience.Sound Quality So Good, It’ll Move YouThe sound quality is top-notch. Every word is clear, every note rings true, and even the softest prayer sounds like it’s coming straight from the heavens. (Okay, maybe not *quite* that dramatic, but you get the idea.) Whether it’s the pastor’s deep baritone or Sister Margie’s soprano, these mics handle it all beautifully. The Only Downside? A Little TOO FunThe dual microphone setup has led to some...interesting moments. Last week, the deacon accidentally left his mic on and gave everyone a live play-by-play of his post-sermon snack situation. (“Where are those cookies?” was heard loud and clear.) Thankfully, the system is so easy to use that we’ve implemented a “mic etiquette” crash course for everyone.Final VerdictThe Shure BLX288/PG58 Wireless Microphone System has truly elevated our church services. It’s easy to use, sounds amazing, and handles everything we throw at it—from powerful sermons to choir practice marathons. If your church is looking for a reliable wireless mic system that delivers heavenly performance (and maybe a little unintended comedy), look no further. Amen to that! 🙌🎤

Loud and clear
I dj and I talk a lot on the microphone. These mics are loud and very crisp and I haven’t even started tweaking any of the levels on my equipment yet. If you’re serious about having solid mics these are great. If you just want a decent mic then you can find something for a lot less money. It’s all about the quality you’re after.

Very Nice Mics
These mics are great and have really good sound., I run a writers in the Round and have 4 artistic on stage. The all say they love the mic. There is a sweet spot you need to find but once you do it's great. I also needed to a wind screen to eliminate the pops that I didn't have with conventional wired mics. I was able to get 2 full gigs out of the battery life. ( 4 hours each plus set up time so I would estimate 5 hours per gig ). I tried to squeeze out a third gig but only made it to the end of the first set. I would give the battery life 12 hours .The Spec say 14 so I think that's pretty close. The battery warning is supposed to offer a 1 hour heads up by the indicator light flashing. I have not found this to the case, the indicator goes from green to red almost immediately and then dead in 2 mins. I never saw the indicator light do any flashing. I use eneloop AA rechargeable batteries which also work great. But I would always have a few throwaways in my gig bag just in case. I am quite happy with getting 2 gigs out each charge. Other than that I think the work very well and would recommend them. Nothing like having a clear stage. Also set up time for my 4 piece acoustic group is a lot shorter now that I am not running cable all over the place.

Great range!
Great mics! I have installed a number of these microphones. Great range and reach from the transmitter.

Does the job very well at this price point
Though not quite the caliber of the pricier ones, this fits the bill for pro use for small and medium gigs.

Poor performance from an industry leader
For the past 30 years, I've used entry level wireless mics to dj weddings. Never had an issue with them, until recently when the on/off switch starting acting up. So after reading many reviews, I paid up for a name brand that has been one of the industry leaders, Shure. They look and feel great, but who cares about that? I just needed basic performance for speaking. What I got were mics that were extremely quiet, and when I turned the volume up (not much mind you), there was horrible feedback. I've played around with them for a few weeks, but the bottom line is that I cannot get a basic performance out of these mics that cost several hundred more than generic brands that do what they are suppose to do. These are going back.

Great wireless mic system!
Always liked Shure microphones, and these are no exception! Solid Mics, easy set up. Plug in receiver, put batteries in the Mics, turn everything on and it sets itself up. Connect to your amp and speakers and you're up and running. Battery life of 14 hours, but we will be using rechargable AA batteries, so no problem there. Pick up is great! These Mics will pick up the speakers voice easily 12-18" away. Not a karaoke mic! These are real, professional Mics, make no mistake...
