Polymem 4" x 4" Non-Adhesive Pad Wound Dressing, 3 Count (Pack of 1)

We got Polymem from our wound care nurse, but they could only give us a few to take home, so Amazon to the rescue! These are a little smaller than what I got at wound care, but it’ll still work at the 4x4 size. My dad had leg wounds that started to bleed when we removed the “nonstick” band aid pads, negating any sort of healing since we needed to change the dressing every day, so wound care said to use these instead as they really are nonstick. After using these for two days, the bleeding stopped and the wounds are finally healing. Apparently you do not need to use any antibiotic ointment or medicines since it has it all incorporated into the pad itself. They are easy to cut for whatever size you need. I’ve cut one into smaller pieces to take care of little spots all over. They are expensive, but in my opinion the price is worth the quick improvement to my dads issues we’ve had for two months.

I had Mohs surgery on my head to remove skin cancer. Incision spot was about the size of a quarter. My surgeon recommended Polymem vs Aquaphor or Vaseline for quicker, safer healing and he was right. Unreal how well my would healed with no scaring. Great product, easy to use, and the results make this a no-brainer.

I use these under the heel bandage with some honey wound care ointment

I learned about these from a hospital wound care visit years ago. You can cut to fit size needed. They have medication on one side to aid difficult wound healing. They are left on for several days or week at a time as needed.I use Nexderm waterproof bandages to keep the Polymem from getting wet in shower and the combination works perfectly to heal wounds, ulcers etc. Highly recommend.

This does not adhere BUT it’s not supposed to! I used to use this as a visiting nurse to help heal bedsores and it always worked great. When my father came home from the hospital with a Stage 2 pressure sore, I prayed this was the real deal and was NOT disappointed!!!!! His ulcer was healed in a week! As always, this stuff is a MIRACLE!
