High Quality and Safe for Climbing
I use these rings to tie on a moose hitch and use a carabiner to lock the rope onto a tree, for climbing and rappelling. Very high quality and safety rated for climbing and rappelling.

Rappel Rings
Very well made rings. They work very well with my Hennessy Hammock system. Due to their size and thickness they make taking the Hammock down much easier than the smaller thickness steel rings that they replaced.

Good Rings.
I am not a climber. I bought the rings to help me hang my hammock, which it did when I augmented my carabiner with it. The rings all have a very smooth finish with definite markings. They came packaged nicely in a small (I think) waxed paper bag for water resistance? Anyway, it was a nice bag. They arrived on time and I can't wait to find what else I will use them for.GM CLIMBING Blue Rappel / Descending Ring Small Aluminum 25kN / 5600lbs for Rope Retriver Friction Saver Anchor Hammock Setting

Good strong.
I like this for a hammock. I took 1 star off because it comes in 5 packs. It should come in 4 packs or 6 packs. I have to use 2 rings per rope. So I use 4 for my hammock. That leaves an odd one out. Doesn't make sense.

Great anchor ring for tree climbing
I do a lot of recreational tree climbing, and use the GM ring for setting up a basal anchor around the trunk of the tree. The ring is inexpensive for what you are getting, and is ideal for keeping a simple anchor setup that I can rely on.
