Q: I’m confused with the amount that comes. One thing says 16ft. Another says 10cm x 5cm x 3 cm. what actually comes in the package.

Hi, thank you for asking, sorry for the confusion we caused, the length of each roll is 3 meters, the total length is 6 meters, and the package size is 10cm x 5cm x 3 cm. Thank you.

Q: Is this heat proof? Rats chew a whole under my oven

This is a coarse wire, it won't burn I've tried it

Q: Will this harm any creature that tries to chew it? And will it block any ventilation if i use it in ventilation holes?

I would say that it depends on the animal. I dont think a dog or cat would want to chew it but the wool does splinter a bit and little chards could get caught in the mouth/lips. I guess it would partially block ventilation but the extent would be down to how tightly you pack it in. This is good stuff if you want to fill little holes around a pipe say to stop mice but use to gloves provided to stop little splinters in your fingers.

Q: Bees . Would wire wool in a chimney top stop bees entering a chimney pot.

I have no experience if this, I used it to stop rats getting into my boiler through a small hole in the ceiling by the pipe. I would think it would though because it’s sharp stuff and not pleasant to be on or go through. You have to wear gloves when putting it in because the wire can cut your hands, so I think it would certainly put the bees off.

These steel wool are a simple but genius solution for sealing small gaps against rodents! The 0000 grade is fine enough to block tiny entry points while still being easy to mold and push into cracks, I used tip or screw driver and scissors. The 2-pack is handy for multiple problem areas.Effective, affordable, and much neater than loose steel wool. A must for pest-proofing!

The wire was very easy to use as it cuts fairly easily and actually pulls apart plus quite a generous amount to fill the holes in my shed floor where a rat had been getting in to nick straw and try to settle in. This product seemed the best option for my needs so will definitely buy again from this supplier if I need more.

Rolls are not massive

Thought they would have been a bigger rolls. Not a lot of steel wool for the price.They do fill the holes but would have liked a bit more for the money.
