As a general rule, I always wash all forms of food containers & utensils before usage.

What is this white residue that floats on the water when I use these ice cubes?

The white floating debris in the frozen ice cubes is not something else, it is caused by the dissolved air in the water after the ice cubes are filled with water and placed in the refrigerator. When the temperature drops, the air will become bubbles and escape towards the night. If the outside has already frozen into ice, it cannot escape, resulting in a large number of bubbles and white mist when the inside condenses into ice. When water is made into ice, these things stick to the surface of the ice, which is a white floating substance. It's not a problem with the ice grid mold, please rest assured. Is it difficult to remove the ice cubes?

These small cube trays seem to release their ice cubes more easily than other silicone trays I've tried. If you push from the back they seem to pop right out.

Are they made in the United States ?

Knowing bezos made in china, plus there were worthless I threw in garbage . Get plastic not rubber.
