Lots of Trial and Error
The media could not be loaded. I watched countless videos on how to do the polygel. It was my very first time but personally it wasn’t as seemless as the videos. Also, the instructions should suggest after curing the polygel to wipe with isopropyl alcohol to remove that top layer / harden it. It made such a difference. I learned that from a comment on one of the videos. My nail bed is long and curved so the molding tips mostly popped off and I had to go back in and fill in gaps towards the base. I eventually just used a mold that was bigger than my nail and that helped a little. I just purchased a drill for the back & the edges to clean it up. I ended up using a lot of the gel to fix the gaps but I think you can get 2 uses out of one tube depending how long you make the nails. The gel itself is great. Very firm/thick and I can tell they will last!

Cost-effective and useful.
For the price, they’re great. You get about twice as much polygel as other sets that cost half again as much. They are easy enough for a beginner (I started my polygel attempts last month) to get nice, thin, strong nails. They are very sensitive to the alcohol/slip solution, so make sure to drain your brush of excess before messing with the polygel if you want it to cure properly. That said - I am rather disappointed in the color changing polygel. The blue thermal polygel was the one I tried first because I was so excited to have nails with a beautiful gradient like in the photograph. Instead, the nails are clear almost all of the time. The photos included are about as dark as the blue gets after processing, which is after I squeezed an ice pack with my fingertips for two minutes. As I tech this point in writing my review five minutes after the picture, they are already back to clear. So I chose to paint them with a clear glitter, to get whatever temperature effect I can, but to have something more than just a clear, slightly cloudy nail.If you are going to paint your polygel nails with a solid color anyway, I would highly recommend these - they’re a much better price and they serve their purpose as nail structure. Just don’t set your heart on the colors in the picture.

So-so
I love the colors and the price seemed reasonable for how much is included in this kit. A couple things though- I was getting heat spikes with both the base and top coat. And second, the plastic nail forms that came in the kit, had excess plastic around the edges (like they weren’t cut down properly) and the shape of these forms don’t cover your entire nail. They might fit at the base where your cuticles are, but then it goes skinnier in the middle leaving the edges of your nail exposed.

worth it!!
Spent 4 hours trying to do my nails with this kit just for all of them to break off less than 10 minutes after I got them on. If your a beginner and doing it on a fake hand I would say this kit is good for that but if you are doing it on your own hand this kit is not worth it!Update: The instructions aren’t that good but watch some videos on how to fix the breaking off problem and that fixed it. You have to do a second coat of the poly gel to make sure they won’t break off. After fixing the problem I had with this kit it’s definitely worth it! You really have to think it’s $15 and other kits are around $30-$40. You’re not gonna get the best quality out of this kit but it works

Great Starter Kit!
Amazon isnt allowing me to include pictures in my review but these polygels do actually glow in the dark. I even used a splatter matte top coat and they still glowed pretty clearly. I'm still having difficulty sizing the forms to my nails, but I might try a different style. The polygel and tools are wonderful and perfect for a beginner.

Not a fan
Tge designs came out light and easily smudged. Be sure to have a UV nail dryer for this also.
