Buy this. This is what you want.
You're probably here because you want an environmentally friendly but also safe solution for food storage. Look no further - you have found the best on the market. Compared to other silicone products Stasher is the big player in this market. They make amazing bags, but they are obscenely priced, especially for my salary; they are out of the question. Other silicone products require you to use plastic bars to lock them so they don't leak - they're not even worth talking about; burdensome to use and you are still generating plastic waste. Xomoo bags have these huge silicone zippers that require nothing extra and actually hold quite well if you leave enough room at the top of the bag for them to actually shut and not have too much pressure pulling them apart. Small learning curve but they work great in that regard. Compared to other "environmentally friendly" products PEVA is the big material you will see in other food-safe environmentally-safe bags. It has a lot of applications, like shower curtains. That's fine, it's still food-safe, but listen... it's still plastic! It is "recyclable", but like many things that are, it's difficult to recycle and the incentive to set up programs to recycle it are low. For example, my city in Pennsylvania does not allow for easy recycling of PEVA. They say it is bio-degradable, but that doesn't mean much in a landfill. Look. Plastic is amazing in certain applications and has brought about a whole new industrial revolution all by itself, that much is undeniable. But don't put your food in it. That's just not what it's for. It leaches, it has estrogen-acting effects on your endocrine system, and it straight destroys the environment - it's just not worth it. Things to know Good - food grade silicone, the only thing you should be putting your food in - flat bottoms, so they stand up for storage, consumption, and easy cleaning! - they should last forever if you treat them well - dishwasher safe! Meh - they do discolor after a while if you store things like tomatoes or if you use them to marinade with colored sauces. Honestly not a huge deal, just know that it is a thing. - they are leak proof, but their seal can be broken, and then you have a mess. Because they have just a large silicone zipper, you won't want to bring soup, for example, in a lunch box that might get squished. It will bust the zipper open and leak. They withstand a good deal of pressure before that happens, but they are not immune. - they don't fill quite as high as you would initially expect because of the zipper mechanism. You need to leave a good bit of room at the top to connect the zipper and ensure a good seal that will prevent it from opening. The tighter you pack it, the higher the chance the zipper will open when you don't want it to. You get plenty of fill space... just maybe a 1/2 inch clearance at the top than you might expect. Buy 'em. If you regret it, return 'em. But I don't think you'll regret it.

These live up to the hype -- they are awesome!!
I have used 3 of the items I purchased...one of them right out of the box!! I love the way they stand up which makes them so easy to fill...that is such a great feature. They clean up super easy. I haven't put them in the dishwasher yet, just hand cleaned, but they were a snap to clean. These fit in the cabinet without flopping over, the sizes are great, they are easy to open and close, they don't leak, they are easy to clean, they are wonderful! I will purchase again. I liked having the set of 6 so I could see which was most useful -- I want to see which sizes I use the most and then will most likely order more of those. Thank you for making and offering such a useful product.

Mostly Good
These bags seal well (when not overly full), are durable, can be frozen, can be heated, and can be dishwashed. I have also found that writing on them with a dry-erase marker is removable, but it takes a bit of scrubbing, which keeps the writing from getting wiped off prematurely. My biggest dislike is that they gradually impart a plasticy taste to food stored inside them. If it weren't for that, I would use them a lot more. Other than that, they're a pretty good product. A note: I purchased these in August 2022. This page says the product has since updated, so it's possible things have changed.

Way better compared to other brands!
I’ve had other reusable ziplock bags that are thick and seem durable but I would notice them being difficult to zip right from the beginning. I love how these are so easy and quick to open and close. I’m also a huge fan of how easy they are to either hand wash and dry or by putting them in the dishwasher. My son is a huge fan of them and I use them for all his snacks on the go or around the house. They are so easy to stand up on their own without worrying about tipping over. I made the mistake of trying to buy cheaper decent looking kinds of this and ended up getting frustrated by the quality and issues with opening/closing them. These feel very strong and think but also so easy to close and open. I haven’t used them for cooking in really high heat but they hold up just fine in the microwave. Highly recommend spending a little extra for these bags!

Wish I’d passed on them.
Thick heavy silicone. Bulky and sometimes don’t want to close well. Don’t trust for liquids in the freezer. Awkward sized. Find I don’t really use them like I thought I would, so now they just take up space.

Excellent Quality!
I really like this set because of the excellent selection of varied sizes that are included. They are easy to store ( I roll them up). I can add warm food in them and not worry about melting them. I leave them open until the food has cooled and then put them in the refrigerator. They seal really well and are easy to open. I like the bottom on these because they stand up on their own while I fill them. They are also easy to clean.

BEST design of silcone bags and AFFORADABLE
LOVE IT. I researched several different brands - but liked the design of these silicone reusable 'Ziploc type' storage bags. MANY of the other brands and types, have a slider that you have to slide on...which is easily lost or hard to slide on after using the bags for awhile. MANY others are also NOT premium food grade silicone - but instead, are PEVA which is NOT silicone...Google that and you will know the difference. There are some that call food grade silicone - 'soft glass', as it is inert and does NOT leach any chemicals out - because there are not any chemicals in it - just like glass container are. This brand and silicone items are a heavy weight silicone, NOT thin... they also have a really heavy duty 'zipper' that is easy to zip closed...and does hold liquids in them when turned upside down (just can not squeeze them while do so). The bottom part of the 'bag' is shaped so the bags stand up straight on the countertop while filling /storing - and also help keep them open to allow them to dry ( a 'problem' with the flat type of bags). There is another brand of premium silicone 'Ziploc type' bag out there...but they are VERY expensive! I am trying to reduce using plastics, so this brand and item fits the bill PERFECTLY and AFFORDABLY too. I will definitely be recommended them to my friends and purchasing some as gifts too! AS AN UPDATE: Still LOVE these containers. HOWEVER: I have found that it is IMPORTANT to ‘burp’ the container while zipping the seal - as that not only makes the food contents subject to less air in the container – but ALSO MORE IMPORTANTLY, to remove some of the air pressure on the zip seal itself. That makes for a more reliable seal. I put water in the container – burped it while zipping the seal – and turned it upside down – just one drop of water came out the seal – AS LONG AS THE CONTAINER IS NOT SQUEEZED WHILE UPSIDE DOWN. That is why liquid ingredients that would be in a lunchbox – maybe not a good idea – but in the refrigerator is fine, if it is tipped over should be pretty leak resistant. I think some of the reviewers on Amazon are not burping their containers while zipping, and they are saying the zipper is not holding tight (the air pressure is pushing the zipper back open). The styles with the sliders are problematic in that after using them for a while they get harder and harder to

Pretty decent product if you’re also on your eco friendly journey.
These bags are overall pretty good. I gave it 4 stars because they are deceivingly small. If you try to fill it up you can’t get the seal to close let alone stay closed for storage or travel. They’re fairly easy to wash but don’t leave anything soaking in there for too long as it may leave stains; and getting stains off this stuff is real difficult. Works great for road trip snacks and work lunches.
