I liked the slightly longer length that helped in installation. Be careful not to cross thread, the bolt strips pretty easily. I used one of the original bolts to finish install.

They are great quality but my only problem with them is that since the thread did not go all the way to the end of the screw, it was lot more difficult to get it back on. When you're under a vehicle, on your back with very little clearance - getting enough weight behind the impact to make it grab is pretty tough. You need all the help you can get.

Careful with these...
Speaking only for my intended fitment, a 2002 Toyota Highlander with a 2.4l 4 cylinder, the ones I received do not fit the (very expensive) factory catalytic converter/manifold combo. I attempted to install one side and it bound up and stripped out the first bit of the manifold's threaded hole. I didn't force it and reinstalled the factory springs and bolts. This situation mirrors the one described by another reviewer.Please test fit these before you install the cat/manifold. It could be shoddy workmanship or just that someone put the wrong bolts in the box. Either way, I'm going down the road anxiously anticipating a leak at the "donut" any day now.I would post a picture of these, but right now they are somewhere in the shrubbery of the front yard where I threw them in anger. Don't be me.

Great replacement for corroded exhaust bolts
2012 4runner came from the East Coast and the muffler assembly was corroded. I installed a no-name brand muffler and used these bolts/springs on the flange portion. They screw right into the threads on the OEM Y-Pipe.
