Mattel Games Blokus Duo Board Game

We love the regular version of this game so we decided to gift this version to my sister and her husband. They love it and it’s compact size for easy storage. It’s easy to catch on to this game and game play can be pretty quick.

Llego antes de lo esperado, la verdad mucho antes y eso es muy bueno. Sin embargo cómo se ve en las imágenes, la caja llego muy golpeada por la parte de abajo. No afecta en nada a la jugabilidad pero si se ve feo estéticamente, comento esto por sí es importante para algún futuro comprador.Ahora bien, respecto a lo que es el juego, viene con un instructivo en inglés, fácil lectura y de verdad no es dependiente del idioma el juego.El tablero y las piezas se sienten de buena calidad, he jugado ya varias partidas y la verdad es muy bueno para pasar el rato, con partidas rápidas cómo de 30 minutos.

The game can be set up and taught in 30 seconds and like a good abstract its difficulty is determined by the players (this isn't as deep as chess, but it has enough depth to be interesting while being light).I'd argue that abstract games like these are meant for 2 players, and while the original 4 colour blokus can play a two player game, the small package and presentation of this version makes it the definitive version I'd recommend getting ... So unless you have a family and NEED to play with 3 or 4 just get this one.The game's production is very good. With the board being a decently weighted plastic. Nothing in my version was deformed. The pieces are quite thin (don't sit on one) but sit on the board nicely... You can even tilt the board 40 degrees and they won't fall out of place. And everything fits in a small box with a great insert.If you want a good 2 player lighter abstract, I'd highly recommend this. It comes at a great price point for its quality too.

Well made. Each game takes ~20 mins.Having played the original 4 player version many times, this is a perfect variation when you don't have many friends. It's usually a close game since it's more difficult to fully block opponents out of areas than in the multiplayer version.The board, and hence the box, is quite small so doesn't take up much shelf space.
