I have bought many face masks over the past 1.5 yrs. Many KN95 masks too. I started off with the "disposable" blue face masks, until we learned they are almost useless in protecting you or anybody else (better than nothing though). I think that's why many people said "I got Covid even though I was wearing a mask all the time". The "disposable" masks don't work.There are 3 levels of the blue face masks.:Level 1=GoodLevel 2=BetterLevel 3=BestLevel 3 is what they use in surgery. Of course any of these levels is better than the "disposable" types.They were impossible to find in the beginning. I switched form disposable to KN95 pretty early on as they could be found (@$2 or more apiece though). Then I was able to find Level 1 masks ($57 for a box of 50). I uses those at the gym because they were easier to breathe through. Then of course the Gyms closed. I continued to use the KN95 throughout (along with safety glasses and vinyl gloves-yeah I take this seriously). Then in Dec '20 you could find Level 3 masks. I ordered a box and would occasionally wear them out and about, but preferred the KN95's. The problem with ALL of the blue masks is when you put them on, there is a gap on both sides of your face where air can get in and out. So at the gym, I would tape them down on my cheeks with surgical tape.So the Gym's opened back up, I was getting low on blue masks, and I was fully vaccinated by now. I found this 2 pack (100 masks) of Level 3 masks for a pretty good deal, and wow was I surprised. These are the real deal. Made in the US. But best of all? They actually sit FLUSH on your cheeks. Seriously. As a result, they are a little harder to breath out of than the other blue masks but so what? That means they are actually doing their job! You get used to it, and they are much less bulky that the KN95's. The blue front of the mask actually moves in a out with your breathing. Again, that means they are WORKING.Yeah, I still wear a mask indoors. As of today, the WHO says even if fully vaccinated you should. Remember, all the unvaccinated people out there aren't wearing masks either. I don't want to be a "breakthrough" case, and these masks are so easy to put on and off. Big deal, no hassle. AND the strings don't break! Highly recommend.

I've tried a ton of different masks so far in the last year. These do seem to fit a larger face a little better than some others that look very similar in photos. The nose area does shape around the nose better than many others. I have no way to measure how many "airborne particles" can pass through these compared to others, but the fact it claims to be 4 ply instead of most that say they are 3 ply should help with some things. New variants of Covid are causing doctors to suggest wearing one of these type masks with a cotton mask on top of it AS WELL. Having had a lung issue in the past, I find this layering makes it harder to comfortably breath (for me, considering), but these should indeed add that extra layer of protection regardless of how you decide to use them with or without something else.Covid isn't going anywhere anytime soon, so you might as well get as good of a mask as you can. The added benefit too, is it helps protect against exposure to the flu, common colds, etc as well.

These masks are great quality. I got them at a great price too. Two boxes of 50 masks for price of one. I am particular about my masks as many are , I am sure. I use these to double mask under my cloth masks. Theseare a level 3 which it does state that right on the box. That was a plus for me. I highly recommend these masks . Very pleased with this purchase.

These PlastCare USA masks are comfortable and seem to be made of high quality materials. They have been good for all performance.

I've been looking at many reviews and buying many different brands, looking for quality surgical type masks. I have finally found a quality mask and will be purchasing these particular ones from now on. The masks you can instantly tell they are more substantial and feel thicker than all of the other masks. I feel confident that the multi-layer design will protect me and my family. They are a little more expensive than other brands but it is well worth it.
