Gardein Plant-Based Chick'n Noodl' Soup, Vegan, 15 oz

This is an easy to fix meal poured over some rice and tastes really good. Gardein makes some great products and this is one of them.

Best soup ever. It will change your life. I only wish they'd let you buy more than 10 cans at a time

It was actually really good. The meatless “chicken” was okay it was kinda mushy but not too much I will most likely buy it again.

Tastes good enough. It smells like beef vegetable soup, like the typical stuff from any other soup brand. I had to make sure it indeed was not beef. Very beefy smelling. The appearance is (not surprisingly) not anywhere close to the pictures in the product description, nor what is on the can. I will include a picture. It is mostly broth, with a few spoonfuls of decent looking canned vegetable and potato. The "beef" chunks look good, have a decent texture and taste. However, there are only like two pieces.My cans were dented. The flip top lid is weak. It kind of comes off much too quickly, like it is barely attached. That is weird. I would not consider these for long term pantry storage.Currently priced at $2.39 per can, which I thought was reasonable. I do not rate on price as we all have different budgets, needs, interests, prices fluctuate (especially now), and we can see the price before purchase. It is in line with other name brand soups of this size, yet since I am not a vegan or vegetarian, I will likely skip this and keep my eye on preferred brands that have a little more substance.3.5 stars. Giving a solid 3 stars as I think it is "OK".

As a vegetarian who missed real chicken soup this product has been a lifesaver. We moved to a rural area, and could not find in any of our local stores. I was so happy to see I could get on Amazon. Price was great and comes right to my door. Yummy “chik’n” soup for the days I need it! Delicious

I'm usually a big fan of Gardein's products. Beefless Ground, Porkless Bites, Meatless Meatballs -- all three are staples in our house. But this Chick'n Noodle Soup is one of the worst things I've eaten.I'd previously tried their canned meatless sausage gumbo, and while it wasn't perfect, it wasn't bad. So I figured the Chick'n Noodle Soup would be similar. I couldn't be more wrong. As others have noted, the smell is awful - dog/cat food is probably a close comparison. I had to double check the can for dents, just to make sure the soup hadn't gone bad. The smell does go away slightly upon cooking, but the taste is still bad. I made it through no more than half the bowl before dumping it.And that's where it gets worse. Not long after, I felt bloated, and was overcome by burps that smelled and tasted like the awful smell and taste of the soup. It was overwhelming, and I became nauseous. I felt so bad I went to bed early. I spent the entire next day feeling sick - I could only stomach eating a handful of saltines the entire day. My intestines felt wrecked. Just the memory of the smell and taste makes me ill. I won't be eating any of the Gardein soups ever again, and if I could give this one negative stars I would. I don't know where Gardein went wrong, but this soup is just the absolute worst.

Tastes just like regular beef vegetable soup to me, just vegan. Extremely tasty broth and not a bad price!

Great for vegetarians that don't like to cook.
