Got this converter to use with a VGA monitor, yet the box suggested AV can only be outputted, and the box overall did not even work. I tried different power adapters and still nothing. The manual told me little to nothing about how it turns on or if it did. Maybe if I connected something to the ports it would turn on but no, nothing. Complete waste of time.

I think it outputs at 240p not reliable if you want to read what’s on the screen, but useful for my purpose

The media could not be loaded. Honestly I wasn't expecting much from this unit at this price. But it does work quite well and exceeded my expectations at this price point. It's easy to use and has a lot of features. If you're converting to RF signal, or conposite into a CRT tv, the picure will be grainy and there may be some ghosting. But it's no different than the quality you would get from using the I/O of a VCR back in the day (which is kinda cool/nostalgic).Overall the unit works as advertised and is a quick simple solution for those looking to use their old tvs again.

I used this to connect a mini pc to a crtv making an emulator box. works great once you change the settings from Pal .

Went through all the settings, text still looked like alien writing. Can not duplicate my main screen. I can only ad a second screen. This defeats my purpose. WORST OF ALL. As soon as I plugged it in, security alerts for software I don't have popped up every 5-10 seconds. Had to shut off all notifications. Buyer beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll get right to the important part. The image quality on composite output is excellent. Zero artifacts. I was extremely happy with it. However, the only reason I had to use it in the first place is because the S Video quality is awful to the point of being unusable. Dark, dingy picture that wouldn't show me white even with the brightness turned all the way up. So when I buy something advertising S Video output and it doesn't work, that's a major problem.The form factor of the thing is also terrible. You have to plug wires into three sides of it, which wouldn't be a problem if there was a remote to access the on screen menu. There isn't, so you have to physically access the box to work the menu, and there's no way to tuck it neatly into your setup with cables sticking out of it everywhere.Bottom line, there's better options. Ones where all the features actually work. But since the composite output is quite good, I can't give it one star, because it does do that very well. But don't advertise features that don't work.
