Farm Animals Coloring Book (Dover Little Activity Books: Animals)

This is a great little coloring book. I read some of the negative reviews that complained about the size. Well, if you take the time to read the product details, you will see that the size is clearly stated - 5.7 x 4.2 x 0.2 inches. Others didn't like the art. Most of these coloring books have the "look inside" feature, so you can see what you are getting before you buy. I like the fact that they aren't the hottest licensed characters, but ordinary creatures and items that are easy for toddlers to recognize and color. These are perfect for my grandkids and are easy to take along because they are small. I would say that some of these books are far too simple for a 7 or 8 year old, and some are too detailed for younger kids. The key is to pay attention to what you are purchasing!

I can find nowhere that tells thesize. I thought these were normal size coloring books!! And I can't find a return. I bought 5! Waste of money!!!! Too small!!

Tiny coloring book but cute all the same. The pages didn’t want to lay down enough so it was difficult to color the whole picture.

This is the smallest coloring book I have ever seen anyone charge money for. I bought this for my almost 2 year old son's Easter basket however it's so small that I am putting it in my 3 year old nephew's basket instead. I'm not sure if the size is mentioned in the description but I will take responsibility for not paying attention to the dimensions. I just assumed that since it was $1.99 that it would be of average size. It's a shame it's so small because it is an adorable coloring book that you don't generally come across. Each page has a picture of an animal to color and a brief description of the animal. It almost reads as a story book! I absolutely love the idea of this book however it is far too small for younger children to really enjoy. I think that my 3 year old nephew will like it, but may not use it due to how small it is. It is half the width & half the length of an average coloring book. The pictures & words appeal to a younger age, yet the size of the book is more for an 8 year old.

I was expecting a normal sized coloring book but it came smaller and has a story inside as well. It's quite nice and my son loves it. Four stars for being smaller than expected.

Nice book and paper quality is also nice

Just what I needed for under $2! I put one of these LITTLE (approx 4" x 5 3/4") coloring books in my purse along with a couple 4-pack crayons I saved from some restaurant along the way and I've got what I need to keep my 3 and 4 year old grands busy. The Farm Animals book has a sentance or two on each page about the animal. Plenty to get us going on a detailed conversation. I tear out a page for each of them...coloring attached to the book would be difficult...nor could we share. When the pages are gone, I'll spend another few quarters for another one! Great for SHORT waits with litte space anywhere...Drs office, restauant, waiting for siblings to get done, and on.

I bought several of the Dover mini colouring books as stocking stuffers. My kids love them *so* much, especially my toddler who often feels overwhelmed by the bigger colouring books. They're wonderful and the kids love the pictures.

The coloring book is sooooo small, If that's what you are lookin for go for it, if not avoid

I have colored a lot of books in my day and must admit that this particular coloring book accepted the wax of my dollar store crayons like no other. Congratulations coloring book maker. Farm Animals is an immensly superior item and you are truly gods among your peers.

Surprise!! the book is the same size as the box of crayons! Cute pictures, but oh so very tiny.
