Going strong after 10 months. Great for RC cars and projects around the house!
ABOUT IT'S TORQUE (AND ADJUSTMENT):I originally purchased this cordless screwdriver for assembling my RC car, as I was doing a lot of work on two of them. My biggest concern was stripping out the screws. But this guy has a torque adjustment that works really well. It goes low enough that on its lowest setting it sometimes stops even before the screw is all the way in (which is good for RC stuff). You can then increase the torque adjuster on the front for your RC needs. But don't get me wrong, when you turn up the torque adjustment, this little guy is probably about as strong as a drill on the low torque settings.I have also found this thing to be SUPER handy around the house. Just doing little odds and end jobs around the house, where there are long screws that would take forever to screw in. It isn't a drill, but it will screw into studs in the walls on full torque. It is well rounded.SPEED:It spins at a steady slower speed so you can watch what is going on as you screw in. It does only have one speed, but I have found it to be fast enough you aren't sitting there forever, but slow enough you have time to stop just before the head of the screw touches what you are screwing into (If you want to hand tighten it down).ONE VERY MINOR ANNOYANCE:My biggest gripe with it is the little red LED charging light. It is so dim, that you almost have to cup your hands around it to see if it is charging or not. This being said, I have not had it not charge from being set on the stand wrong. I usually have a habit of double checking the light, even as dim as it is, but I have never found it to not be charging when setting it on the stand. I don't have to fiddle with it or anything like that.BATTERY LIFE:Obviously depending on what you are doing the battery is going to be affected differently. If you are driving in drywall screws into 2x4s that requires a lot of torque, I would say it will last about 1 hour solid of screwing in constantly. However, if you are just doing minor tasks around the house, and screwing in or unscrewing machine thread screws constantly it will last a good 12 hours before needing a charge. I mainly bought it to use it on my RC cars that have a ton of little machine screws and I would work on them all day, and this little guy wouldn't give out till the end of the day.CHARGING:This being said, I have never had an issue with the battery life. Usually you will use it for a hour or two depending on what you are doing and put it back on the charger and it will be ready to go 100% again when needed next. As far as charge time, I don't think it is anything special, probably something like 3-4 hours from a complete dead charge. But that being said, this is perfect for small projects around the house and for RC cars, and the charge time is pretty irrelevant when you throw it back on its charging base after use. Never really had it quit on me in the middle of a job. But then again, I am not trying to put up drywall with it either. But great for little projects around the house. I had no idea how handy it would become. Has saved my wrists numerous times.Worth every cent.

Skip the AA-powered one and get this
Skip the AA-powered one and get this.Pros:- small, lightweight- rechargeable li-ion- good starter bit set (with storage)- magnetic screw holder (more on this in a moment)- adjustable clutch to avoid overtightening/stripping screws.- built-in lightCons:- no variable speed, but it does have an adjustable clutch.- bit holder is not removable from the base.I love this thing. I've disassembled and reassembled a bunch of furniture with it. The basic set of philips and flathead bits work fine, the longer bits were capable of reaching some slightly out-of-the-way screws (used it to replace a door knob). The hex bits are the right size for standard ikea furniture, which makes this amazing for me. I love that it's rechargeable, so I don't have to worry about churning through AAs anymore. The magnetized screw holder works ok - I didn't expect it to work at all, so the fact that it works a little is a bonus for me. One trick I've found with it is that it works to extend the magnet just to the drill bit, and not to the screw itself. I usually just forget it's there, so I don't use it much, but when I've used it, it's worked to hold the screw for me.It comes with a drill bit, which is a bit odd, but I used it once so far. It works to drill a hole, but when you pull back, the drill bit stays in the wall -- this doesn't grip the bit like a drill does, it's just a hex base, so the bit pulls out easily. This isn't a big deal for me, because I don't plan to use this for drilling very much. The charging base for this is a good size, nice and small. I wish the bit holder could detach from the base, so I could bring it with me for projects. As it is, I have to unplug the base and bring the entire thing with me, which is tedious, and means I don't mount it on the wall.I had previously bought Black & Decker AS6NG Alkaline Cordless Screwdriver , but I recommend getting this instead. I don't think that other one is worth it.

Nearly perfect - UPDATE died after a few months
I got one of these years ago. It lasted a long time and worked great. Left it one time in the back yard and found it only about a week later. The rain got it. It still worked but eventually it died. I bought a different one, which has the handle adjustable in three position, which I think is a great feature (TACKLIFE Cordless Screwdriver, 3.6V 2.0Ah Electric Screwdriver Rechargeable, Adjustable 3 Position Handle). Still, after a while I bought again one of these, as I missed some of its features. These are those great features:- Adjustable speed as you squeeze the trigger. This one is priceless in so many situations. Most other similar product have 0% or 100% speed.- The magnetic screw holder.- The charging stand. Easier than plug-in charger and this way I know always where it is and I do not forget to charge it.If the handle would pivot, this would be the perfect screwdriver.UPDATEIt died after a few months of very light use (once a week in average). You need to ship it or take it to a repair center, which is not worth it. I will look at other brands.

Excelente

Not good for countries on 220Volts electricity
It’s 110volt!! Never shown in product description! I am from Sydney Australia, and seller knowing that should have at least advised me first to either proceed or not. I have to buy a step down transformer to use itcosting me extra $40!!

Really great electric screwdriver.
I have been using this electric screwdriver for about 6 months now and it is the best I have ever had. It is powerful with a variable torque sleeve that is easy to adjust. It fits in your hand beautifully. You can change direction of the rotation instantly with the buttons on either side of the grip. I found the little slide out screw holder to be a real boon on occasion! The little blue light comes on when you start the tool. The charging stand is also the storage stand for the different heads which is convenient. But best of all is that the battery life is good. It does not start dying out on you after a half hour of use and does not fade significantly if you don't use it for a few weeks. Charging is a matter of sitting it on its charger that is easy to stash on the workbench. I had read positive reviews about this and it lives up to its credits. Black and Decker have hit one out of the park with it for a home handyman like me.
