BFF Doll with Night Light & Multi-Colored Fairy Lights | Collectible Dolls for Girls Age 3

Originally, we were part of a campaign to promote BFF but as soon as I read the description and saw photos of the dolls, I bought multiple out of pocket because I knew my kids would love them. After playing with the first one we opened, Dani, one of my daughters asked for BFF for Christmas and another used her allowance to buy one right away. The stock photos don't really do it justice. The doll is so, so much cuter! The price point is fantastic. It's not a cheap quality doll whatsoever. Her wings light up, as does the container she comes in. She's got on a little skirt and comes with a few small accessories. The BFF are really beautiful, sturdy dolls with wings that I think will be a lot harder to break than others (my kids often break wings, but this material feels a little more flexible!). My kids love unboxing stuff so of course, that appealed to them also. My 5, 8, and 10 year old daughters want to collect ALL of the BFFs, no exaggeration. As a mom, I'm glad they found something so inexpensive and adorable that they love because I can get a bunch of them for Christmas and not break the bank! 100% advocating for this doll of my own honest opinion and I've already been telling everyone about them. High recommend and grateful for a new toy I actually like (lol). I'm stocking up now for Christmas because I have a feeling these are going to get really popular and sell out fast. (As I write these, we're awaiting our Amazon order of more that aren't in stock yet!)

These fairies are gorgeous!!! Well-made, good size, beautiful faces and pretty clothes. I’ve bought a few “surprise” dolls - this one is by far the best and the best value! VIP pets, (cute, good size, overall kind of a pain to open all the bits in water and the hair is falling out), Cry Babies (OMG never again - difficult to open and I still don’t know the point of pouring the little bit of water to “open” it, ugly doll, one leg fell off right away, poorly made), Awesome Blossems (cute idea but ridiculously tiny and poorly made), Blume dolls (I didn’t bother - who wants a doll with a sponge for hair?). These are so pretty - beautiful hair and faces, adorable fairy outfits (and you can buy more outfits), a stand, and the glowing nightlight container too!

The packaging is amazing! I was almost certain it would overshadow the doll, but the doll is cute and better quality than I was expecting. The hair isn't the best quality, but it's not bottom barrel, either. The face up is well done, with no scratches or chips. The doll has the basic five points of articulation. The packaging doesn't have too much waste, which is nice. It was easy to unbox, and I love the night light feature of the jar. Everything that came with the doll easily fits back in the jar, too (including the doll on her stand). I would recommend this toy as a stocking stuffer for young kids or adult collectors that love fairies. The price is decent for a surprise doll, and the night light is a nice bonus.

Overall this is a really cute doll with some flaws. My 3 year old was bummed that she did not get the pink fairy she had hoped for, but such is the nature of blind box things. Other reviewers have mentioned the light up button on the doll... It looks awkward and you have to keep it pressed for the doll to remain lit up. The other thing I saw other reviewers mention is the ugly seam on the underside of the dolls chin. But, we love the light up jar that comes with her. It is a good size and my daughter likes to carry other dolls, like her 3 inch Disney Princess dolls, in it. The lights on the jar are very nice and twinkly. The tiny jar of fairy dust was super cute and brought some "magic" to the toy, but since it is so tiny, it gets lost easily. The doll hairbrush is very sturdy and the hair clips are cute even if they slide out of her hair too easy.

Saw an unboxing video on Instagram and my first grade daughter wanted to get one for her friend’s birthday. Big hit with their little group of girlfriends and their sisters, and I ended up getting one for her, too. The ability to collect different dolls and be surprised - as well as bonus surprise gifts inside - just perfect for this age group. And a much better value than a lot of the similar things sold like this. We love the light up doll AND light up carrying cage/lantern. If these stay at the same price, we are buying them as gifts for everyone!

Pretty, long gorgeous hair. The doll has a button on the neck when pressed, emits changing coloured lights. However you have to continue to press the button in order for the lights to remain on. The packaging container in which the doll comes can light up also by using the switch at the bottom of the container or by waving your hand in front of a tiny hole at the lower part of the container- to activate what i assume is some sort of sensor. However the lights appear to be timer linked so they switch off automatically after a couple minutes at most. I suppose these are all battery life conservation moves. Overall the doll is quite pretty.

PERFECT! I got 2 of these for a gift for 4 year old twin girls and they instantly loved them! Both the dolls and the jar lights up!!! The girls even took them to bed with them that night! I am super stoked the dolls were such a hit!! Not to mention the other children at the party were totally interested in them also! They have a great presentation also! I hope this helps some of you wondering if they should buy them!

The toy itself is lovely, a nightlight with a cute fairy doll inside - well worth the £12 we paid. It's a 'surprise toy' so you don't know which fairy you are getting - although there are 'cheat codes' available online, small white numbers on the bottom of the toy let you know which fairy is inside if you are planning on buying more than one. DD saw a review of this toy on My World (YouTube) and really loved it. My problem is not with the toy but with Amazon. The toy was sent in a white plastic bag and had been set to ON, and as the toy has a motion sensor, as soon as it was handed to us the lights started twinkling and our DD immediately knew what was inside. This was a birthday gift, Amazon!!! So the birthday surprise has been completely ruined. Thanks a lot! Due to the nature of the toy - which is a nightlight - really it should have been in a box, not a flimsy plastic bag. The fact is, every time this parcel was handled, the lights would have started twinkling but not one member of staff at Amazon thought to turn it OFF. What a lousy thing to do. I think this is a lovely toy but I would advise customers to buy it elsewhere - not from Amazon. Now having to find a different birthday gift.
