Different, good. Black currants are something the vast majority of americans have never tasted as they were eradicated in the usa, being illegal between 1911 and 1966 nationwide, still unlawful to cultivate in some states to this day.

Blech - Artificial sweeteners!
Yuck! I ordered this expecting juice concentrate... The listing very clearly states 'no artificial flavoring' and under special ingredients it says 'black currants, vitamin c' - so I was very surprised when I took a little test swig and noticed the distinct flavor of artifical sweetner. I can't stand artificial sweeteners, and avoided the 'no sugar added' version of this product specifically because there were reviews mentioning the artificial sweeteners. Let this serve as a warning for others. I came back to scrutinize the listing to make sure I wasn't losing my mind and there is a single spot that says 'ARTIFICIAL SWEETENERS, FLAVORINGS' without any other context. I am intending to use this juice concentrate as a flavoring... So, category description? It would be much more clear that the product contains artificial sweeteners if it was LISTED IN THE SPECIAL INGREDIENTS. Deceptive advertising. Very disappointed. The search continues...
