Because the installation position and the distance of the ear have different effects on the sound quality and volume.√ The way to increase the volume is to install the speakers as close to the ear as possible(But don’t be too close to make your ears uncomfortable). You also can adjust the volume on your phone to achieve what you want.√ After installation, if there's a gap around the speakers, we recommend that you can stuff some cotton into the gap to prevent the wind from blowing in.Tips: If there have any questions during the use of our product please feel free to contact us through Messenger, We‘re ready to help!

Re-design is MUCH better
I tried there original version of these and they were much too thick and uncomfortable. These however are way thinner and unnoticeable. The controls being on the outside of the helmet make for quick and easy controlling. Sound is clear and sounds good even at higher volumes. I have not used it for phone calls yet, just music. I also have not charged a device using the battery bank, but I can see how it would be nice for emergencies. To charge the actual device, you must plug the charging cable into the mic, which for me is tucked away in the helmet. I wish the charging port were on the outside where the controls are, just for easier access. Overall Im happy with them, in comparison to the original model. Seller was very responsive and attentive.Edit: 08/24/20 finally took some phone calls while on my bike. Call was clear and other person could hear me with minimal background noise. They said they could hear my bike, but it wasn’t overbearing. I’m still happy.

Clear directions from my map app and good quality speakers for music.
Easy to install. Controls are simple and easy to use. The phone does not work great unless you have a full face helmet. I use it mostly to listen to music and it works great for that. Although, I do need to add spacers that put the speakers closer to my ears. Also, works great for directions from the map app on my iPhone. Very good Bluetooth connection. So far I have no real complaints other than the sound quality while talking on the phone and riding due to the open face helmet I prefer.

Works Great after a few adjustments!!
At first install I mounted the Headphones straight to the inner helmet and they were too far from my ears and I couldn’t hardly hear while riding, so I used some Velcro on little Foam Blocks to bring the Headphones Closer to my ears, after that, I can Hear better while riding..

Very close to what I wanted
The sound quality and volume is adequate for me - even on the highway. Installation was fairly easy, although I added a small stick-on cable clamp inside the helmet to hold the microphone in place, reasonably out of the way. I'm not sure why the charge port is now on a separate wire attached to the right earpiece, so you need to peel back the helmet liner and dig in there to charge the unit. It apparently used to be on the microphone, and there's still a port there but it's not functional. I would think a better place would be on the volume/control unit that sits outside the helmet, so it would be easy to access. There's already a USB port there (to charge another device), so adding another would not change the water resistance. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it.

Using while snowmobiling - works great!!
Using for music only - bluetooth to iPhone. Fit is awesome. Didn't use any of the included velcro pads, the speakers themselves stick in place, with the velcro pads they would have stuck out too far. Can BARELY feel them on the ears with balaclava. Volume cranked up is the perfect loudness. It's loud, but not hearing damaging and can hear your sled as might be necessary and can still hear a BCA radio chirp if somebody is trying to communicate. Easy to operate with gloves on. Battery life is great, charged every other day. Mounted battery pack using velcro toward back of helmet to avoid possible trees/branches taking it off - never had an issue with that. Battery pack has little pigtail for charging so you don't have to try to plug into the mic. Couldn't find a good place for the pigtail, just left it hanging, never an issue. Awesome. Get one.

Not junk but close
Cheesy. the earphones are pretty thin and when installed correctly they don't interfere with your ears but the sound is quite thin and hollow compared to even cheap earbuds. Since the speakers sit away from your ears they don't really help with wind noise in your helmet. Crank the stock stereo in a old Honda Civic and stick your head out the window while driving down the freeway, they sound kinda like that.

Not bad at all.
My Sena $300 intercom broke after 5 years. I only used it for Bluetooth to my phone and didn't want to dish out that $ for no good reason. Gave this headset a try. It's really perfect for what I need. Easy to install, easy to charge, decent sound... Would be nice if unit was removable from helmet to charge...but it's doable. Sound quality is better than my Sena. I'll keep you all posted on battery and longer term quality. Overall, I'm very pleased with the purchase so far.

Sound quality is poor
Sound quality is not that good with these headphones. Overall install and all went well and pairing was as easy like any other Bluetooth device. I have a z125 motorcycle with stock pipe so it's not any kind of loud. The wind noise is louder than the headphones which makes me upset. I was thinking maybe it's just a POS headphone so let me replace to see. Well that isn't possible since wiring goes internal and no kind of jack connection to replace them. So you are stuck with what you have.
