Beware - Kohler has switched to plastic for this shower trim.
We have Kohler products throughout our house, so we naturally gravitated to Kohler for fixtures in our master bathroom remodel. When we ordered this shower valve trim, we expected it to be the same quality we have come to expect from Koehler. But we were shocked to find that this shower valve trim is actually PLASTIC! For the price we expected higher quality materials than that. We ended up returning the Kohler trim and valves and went with American Standard fixtures which are still entirely made of metal. Luckily, Amazon's return policies made the return process entirely painless.
