No on Mic volume control but that hasn't been an issue
Really good tone for harmonica and it sounds great on vocals too, as others have noted there is no on Mic volume control but I have not had any problems with that, just keep you levels reasonable and use good technique with your harp and every things fine, if I was making big bucks playing or primarily a harp player I would go for the higher end models but for a bar band guy like myself who is primarily a harp player this gets the job done and give great sound for your vocals too so you don't have to screw around with two mics

Very Disappointed
This microphone did not live up to my expectations at all. I had a Nady bullet mic just like this that worked beautifully, it was fantastic, I loved it! First of all, I ordered another one because I expected it to be the same thing. The one that I have is not chrome plated, it's polished stainless steel. The one that I recently ordered and received was chrome plated, and as far as I'm concerned, it made it look cheap, it made it look like chrome plated plastic. Secondly, it did not work or live up to the quality of the other microphone that I have that was supposed to be identical to this. This one did not have any power at all. I plugged it into the PA at a show that I was doing and I had to turn the volume all the way up! All of my other vocal mics like my Shure 57 & 58, we're only turned up to about five or six. This Nady bullet mic was turned all the way up to 10 and still wasn't even a third of the volume of the other microphones that were only turned up to five or six. Needless to say I send it back. I don't understand why it wasn't the same as the original Nady bullet Mike that I got. Obviously they have done something to make it not nearly as good as what they used to be. Very disappointing. I was really looking forward to having another Nady Bushman Bullet Mic. Until I can find another one with the same quality as the one that I already have, I'll wait ... because the ones they're selling now do not live up to what they're supposed to be.

I love this microphone
I love this microphone. This mic sounds great with my vocals and harmonica. I've used Shure sm 57-58's although they sounded good they never had the right feel or tone for both. Either vocals sounded good and harmonica didn't or vice versa. I also like the looks of this - kinda retro. I'm a solo musician and highly recommend it for singers/harmonica players.

Great looks - Terrible sound
The shape, feel and looks are awesome BUT I couldn’t get a good sound no matter what I tried. Terrible hum through and low volume.

Bad sounding mic, good at collecting dust
The harp sounds tinny and light. The vocals sound like its coming down a hallway. don't bother with this mic.
